"One of the oldest river systems in North America"

    The Manuals River Natural Heritage Society is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to conserve and protect the natural, cultural, and geological history of the Manuels River system. The Manuels River system is internationally known as a Lower Cambrian fossil site.
    The river system is located in Conception Bay South, a community on the Avalon Peninsula of Newfoundland. The Visitors Center is located at the junction between the Conception Bay Highway and the Manuels Access Road.
