| Made from spalted black walnut, the lid of this box makes for a dramatic and beautiful effect. The "floating" bottom is bookmatched walnut, and is equally striking. The box is constructed of Eastern black walnut with light walnut dowels in the corners for optimum strength. The mortised hinges are solid brass with built-in stops at 95 degrees. | |||||||||||||||||
