| This elegant tray is made from a piece of highly figured black walnut that offers a classic example of quilted grain. In this particular piece, the pattern is caused by two branches leaving the trunk at approximately the same point, all of which makes for a dramatic effect. The nominal dimensions of this tray are 10 1/2" wide, 21" long, and 1/2" thick, which is a nice size for a small appetizer tray or a cutting board. |
| Accenting the board is a set of handles made from Peruvian Walnut, it's rich darkness offering a contrast to the figuring of the black walnut. The piece is finished with food-safe mineral oil, which helps bring out the amazing grain of the black walnut. |
