As channeled by Marcia Wilson

However you walk, you will get there if you put one foot forward, then
another. Walking is a balanced act. One cannot take the
place of the other, each foot does its part to continue along with the help
of the other. Injury or illness can cause an unbalanced walk, but with the
help of medical technology, the balance can be returned.
We walk in our mind each day with our thoughts. Each is tied together but
independent. With our thoughts we walk a path and if we walk a certain path
enough times we create a well traveled 'road'. Some thoughts are heavy,
some are light, and like walking with feet, they need to be balanced. We
cannot always walk with heaviness and if we walk with lightness too much, we
appear giddy. How then do we find a balance? Be aware of the 'roads' that
you are traveling in your mind. Do you branch out and create new avenues or
do you stay with a rigid path of thinking? Are you even aware of the
thoughts that you have? Take a look, create an awareness and see if your
thoughts are really food for thought or if you're in the junk food category.
Clean up your thoughts by being aware. Be comfortable taking time to
become aware of your thoughts as if you are seeing them written on paper or
perhaps a screen. What is the picture they paint? What is the form they
are creating? Do they need to be rearranged?
Thoughts are like feet in that they are taking you somewhere. That somewhere
may not be an actual place, but then again, perhaps it could become a visit
to a different 'place'. It is a creative process. The process becomes
part of you and ultimately you become the product of the process. Be aware
of yourself, your mind, your body, your spirit and think carefully where you
are going.
