Often times there is conflict unceasing in its enormity. It is world wide and it is in communities, big and small. At one time, there was not the amount of conflict that is present in this time period. What can have caused the change? There is no one cause. On a larger scale, there is desire for power and control, on a small scale there is unrest and stress. Families grow with constant arguing, thinking this is a normal thing. Sometimes this arguing grows out of control and leads to violence. Other times, it simply spreads among each family member who then spread it to their own environment. What is the example that parents are setting for their children? Is it calmness, reason, and patience, or is it conflict and emotions spiraling out of control. Each negative action, word, and deed is like water to plants. It grows and grows. As an individual, begin with YOU. What environmental, emotional scene do you create? If you find there is not a positive answer, work now to begin to change and create a different 'scene'. In the process you will find that you change yourself.
