Marc gets his first taste of performing as an
alien in the St. Anthony’s Catholic School
Christmas Play. |

Marc
attends St. Frances de Sales High School, Toledo, OH.
He becomes a valuable member of the
diving team, wearing a tiny Speedo bathing suit in public. It
is here that Marc truly discovers his natural ability as an
actor, gaining critical success for his unique portrayal of
Randolph MacAfee in Bye Bye Birdie.

1990-1994 |
Marc
attends the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor,
as a musical theatre major. He meets many life
long friends (see Bridal Party) and his
continues to develop his craft, playing roles
such as Charlie in Brigadoon and one of
the waiters in Most Happy Fella. He also
makes his rapping debut with a song entitled
“Hot Sex”, in the show Quilt. Go
Blue. |

1994 |

Kessler
moves to New York City to pursue his dreams. Wide-eyed,
Kessler arrives in the Big Apple with a head full of hope
and a heart full of dreams. He lands his first big job,
playing a dog in a show entitled Somebody Come and Play
With Me
|
It
does not take long for Kessler’s winning personality
and talent to pay off, as he finds success touring
nationally in Anything Goes, starring in
productions of Forever Plaid!, yet again
playing George Cohan in George M! and working
at many regional theatres.
1996-1998
His meteoric rise to the top begins:
Marc
sows his wild oats on the National Tour of 42nd
Street. He
lands the lead role of Billy Lawlor (the guy who
dances on the “big dime”). The ladies on the road
find him irresistible. Kessler is all over the
tabloids as a womanizer, a party animal.
But, this young playboy soon discovers that
stardom can be a lonely place. He dreams of the
perfect woman for him and that someday, he might find
her.

Marc’s
journey continues on – He appears in No, No, Nanette
at the Goodspeed Opera House, continues to delight regional
audiences as well as New York theatre community, performing in
workshops and premieres.

August
2000: Marc finds true love.
Hired to replace someone in the Goodspeed production of George
M!, he meets his dance partner. As she is teaching him the
show, he begins to fall madly in love with this mysterious
raven-haired beauty. Could she be the one he has been waiting
for? She seems to like him too. There is chemistry.

He tours the country with the Kings, also
performing with Tommy Tune. For

Marc
goes international: The
Rhythm Kings go on tour overseas- to Africa, Italy,
Barcelona. Kessler’s celebrity spreads to worldwide
proportions. He is kind enough to bring his fiancé to
Rome and Barcelona (so she can translate Spanish for
him.) |

Marc proposes to
Casey!
He sweeps her off her feet with a surprise trip to a bed
and breakfast in the Poconos- in a cabin covered in
candles, next to a roaring fire, Kessler gets down on
his knee and shocks her by popping the question. His
choke-sobbing, hyperventilating future brides says “Of
course.”
January
1, 2002
The newly-engaged couple rings in the New Year with
Donald Trump. Tommy
and the Kings perform at Trump’s splashy New Years
Bash at Mar a Lago in Palm Beach.

world as a performer, Marc is still not content with his
super-star status. He begins a second career as a writer. Marc
writes the book for the new show that he co-conceived, Altar
Boyz - a spoof of boy bands.

18, 2002
Marc opens in White Tie and Tails at the Little
Shubert Theatre. The
Manhattan Rhythm Kings appear in Tommy Tune’s off-
Broadway show. Marc mingles with fellow celebrities such
as Joan Rivers, Steven Baldwin (who seems to cast an eye
on the glamorous fiancé on Marc’s arm…), Susan
Lucci, Michelle Lee and Joel Grey. Tommy and the Kings perform on The Today Show and are
featured in articles in the New York Times,
Entertainment Weekly, US magazine, etc.
PRESENT
Casey and Marc live happily ever after enjoying
a wonderful year of sharing wedding planning with
families and friends!
*The
couple is asking that the media respect their privacy
and they have issued a warning to the paparazzi that
security will be high for the big affair. |

is currently planning his next international venture,
heading to Chile and then, Tahiti.
