Syria -

So after an eventful crossing in Syria we arrived at our Camp Site in Allepo.. Time for another victim or 2 of JP's Clippers:-

Lips wanted JP to trim his Mo.. and Sideburns

  Seems that translation again was a problem

  He said Trim His Moustache and tidy up his Side burns NOT this....

So with international diplomacy at stake JP tries one more time to understand the clients request..

Just a simple trim around the sides...                       Soup said trim the sides Not Leave the Sides

We headed to the western side of Syria and the Crac de chavaliers Castle, originally built as a crusader castle it is now a remarkable place for exploring and discovery.

the Internal corridors are a labyrinth to discovery

So with the Castle behind us we headed out into the Hot sands of the desert and Palmyra

Lips decided that the site needed some additional sculptures.. with an admiring audiance

Palmyra must have seen some previous perfomance

So after the extremes of Palmyra we decided to hit the road again 

But we had some difficulty with map reading and the road signs

So after consulting the map on more time we headed past many of the amry bases and finally towards Damascus 

So the road to Damascus finally brought us to the Oldest Inhabited city in the world..

Also a place for meeting new people....

Soup had to apply for an offshore drilling license .. she's from anothe truck!!!
