We
have crossed the Sahara
With
Much relief we have crossed the sahara this is supposed to be our 1st
major challange and for sure we had to work to get through. What a team!! |
Christmas is coming
We have reached the capitol or mauritania and now have 5
long days driving heading for the Bamako in Mali. So hopefully we will be
on the banks of the River Niger for Christmas. |

Truck Stuck in the Mud!!

After 5 days crossing the vast and seemingly endless
Sands of the sahara we found the coast and a Mud Pit!!. The trials of the
previous days gave us a massive lift in morale as we met the see, but
after 2 hours following the coast we hit a soft area of mud just behind
the beach. Team morale went from the high to the pits of the lows, in a
few days / weeks we will be laughing and joking about it all. |
One of us is about to leave!
After much soul searching and time spent thinking about
what to do, Clare has decided to leave the trip and go back Home. This is
the 2nd person as Cam left in Marrakesh. We are already starting to miss
clare and Cam and if things work out maybe one or both of them will rejoin
us later in the trip.
