Writing a letter
This is an example on how to write a message to Your
Commanding Officer:

upper left corner:
place,
time,
HQ name

Under that You start with Sir or Gentlemen (if there are more  recipients)
Then You write what You have in mind.
You will always finish letters with Your signature.
EXAMPLE:

Stone house,
Henry hill
6 PM
Kovac's HQ

Sir,

I have a question concerning my Brigade. Do I have Your permission to send one regiment  to the west to probe enemy lines?
I'm waiting for your orders.
Godspeed,
