Environmental Protection Agency- Learn about protecting the environment. This site has a special part for kids called The Explorers Club.
Envirofacts- This site tells about water, air and chemical pollution. You can click on a map to find information about various places.
Water Testing- This site has links to sites telling about testing for nitrates, phosphates and dissolved oxygen. It also explains about pH levels and water organisms.
Water Pollution- Learn about the major types of water pollution, what causes water pollution and where it is found most often.
United Nations Environment Program- There also is a children's section on this site. Learn about the International Children's Conference on the Environment.
Sierra Club- Learn about global warming, global population, water pollution and logging at this environmental site.
GF Awesome- This is a good site for grade school teachers. It includes activities, nature pictures and information about the environment. It also has a tree guide.
Biomes:
Biomes of the World- This is an online research project for middle and high school students. It tells about the different biomes and has many links plus the project.
Aquatic Biomes- Information about terrestrial, freshwater and marine biomes. Also includes links to other sites about biomes.
Rainforest Action Network- Learn how to save the rainforests. This site also has a kid's corner. Find out about the animals that live in the rainforest.
Biomes and Ecosystems- This site is sponsored by the Missouri Botanical Garden. It tells about biomes and marine and freshwater ecosystems.
