MARKANDYA

This is a hill east of SAPTASHRINGI and it is convenient to approach via this mountain.

Grade : Medium

	Reach NASIK and then proceed by bus to VANI (51 Kms) alight at CHANDKAPUR Phata for a steep rock ladder to the temple. (A well defined route of 5 Kms)
	Higher up are good possibilities for Rock climbing to the top.
	Descend to the col in the east and reach the pass. Climb to the plateau of MARKANDYA.
