 | Reach PUNE bus stand, catch a bus to WAI |
| Then proceed by bus to ASLE via BHULNJ on the WAI-SATARA road. The fort stands to the west. |
| An easy route from the village joins the easterly pass from where one may climb a ridge to reach the final cliff. |
| At the base there are several water tanks. Skirt the tanks on the northern side and enter the VAIRATGAD fort through an old gate in the north. |
