Summary: After an explosive fight, Obi-Wan storms off broken hearted and leaves Qui-Gon's world in shambles. Both struggle to come to terms with what's happened and the "deeper meanings" behind Qui-Gon's dream of Xanatos. Qui-Gon's meditations on this have left him with the sinking suspicion that Xanatos is behind everything. Now Qui-Gon can no longer sense Obi-Wan's force signature and Obi-Wan has been captured! Qui-Gon is relentless however and will chase Xanatos to the ends of the galaxy to find Obi-Wan. Mean while, Obi-Wan has found his captor to be an unsettlingly friendly Xanatos.

Sweet warmth. 'I love the way Qui-Gon's arms feel around me. Safe, strong,' I sighed deeply, basking in the glow of the living force, I feel it ever so strongly whenever I'm close to my master, my Qui-Gon. Warm fingers stroke my hair and twist my Padawan braid around a finger. "Mmmm..." I was lost 'in the moment' and it felt so good. I leaned into the touch and opened my eyes.

"Xanatos!" I sat up sharply and nearly threw him off of me, wrists bound and all, 'Is this what you did to Qui-Gon?'

He laughed and pushed me back on the bed, but he just ran his fingers across my face then he sat up, "So you finally figured it out. All that pain you caused each other, and it was a simple force induced dream, along with a gentle push to your minor feeling of inadequacy, no more real than the dream you just had."

I tried to sit up again; tried to retain some semblance of dignity, but I was only pushed over again. "And just where do you think you're going? Hhummm?" Xanatos brushed his hair away from his face as if to get a better look at me. It revealed a strange scar on his cheek, a broken circle. It had probably been there the last time I saw him, but with his hair, it’s quite possible I never saw it before. He leaned over me again and I couldn't hold back my look of disgust at his nearness, I cringed.

He moved closer still and brushed my lips with his, I jerked my head away. Xanatos laughed, "Don't worry Obi-Wan, you're not the one I want, gorgeous as you are. You're just a play thing to me." He ran his fingers down my neck and slid them into the collar of my tunic and tabard. I struggled to get away, but he held me still. Xanatos gripped the strap that bound my wrists tightly with his free hand, preventing me from almost all movement.

Silky lips touched my cheek and I cringed again. Xanatos was very skilled at seduction, even with me as a prisoner, but I still fought him. If he I had not known who he was I doubt I could have resisted him for long. I struggled again, pulling my arms sharply and working the little leverage I had to push him off of me.

"Quite the fighter. I might keep you around for a while Jedi," Xanatos pushed me back on the bed and crushed his lips to mine, a harsh abrasive kiss. He laughed at me again, and then abruptly left the room.

I sighed and a wave of relief washed over me. 'Thank the force he left!' I shivered thinking of what he could have done.

I felt a slight warmth and tingling in my mind and fingertips. 'Finally the force is coming back to me,' not that it had truly left, but I was beginning to feel it again. No doubt Xanatos would know and drug me again. //Master?// I removed my shields from our bond and hoped I had enough access to the force to reach him.

No reply. I hoped Xanatos hadn't felt my call. 'I'll try one more time,' I told myself, 'then if it doesn't work, it'll be better not to let Xanatos know your force sense is coming back.' //Master, can you here me?//

I felt shock and hope, sorrow and joy float across our bond as if it had never been blocked. //Obi-Wan?//

//Yes, master... Xanatos has me.//

//I'm coming for you. You're headed for the Neimoidian Purse Worlds, which planet, I'm not sure yet.//

//No, master, it’s a trap. The whole thing is a…//

//I know it is Padawan.//

I felt Xanatos moving close to the room I was in. //Master he's coming... probably to give me another dose of that force suppressor. I have to go.// I didn't wait for an answer before I slammed every shield I had shut back into place.
