This is the third bike I’ve owned, another Honda Dio 50cc scooter. I got this bike in exchange for a Nokia 5510 mobile phone plus 5,000pesos (US$ 92.00). I thought the deal was a steal but after a few days riding the scoot, it started to fall apart. Now comes the bloody part of restoring, detailing and tuning not to mention the dough I have to shell out. I didn’t regret restoring this bike because it has served me well. Even brought it on some of my favorite ride spots. It can maintain a top speed of 80kph. Riding this scooter on the twisties is just as fun as riding the sportbikes. Its as simple as twist and go.
I don’t know what possessed me to sell this bike. I was even having a hard time going to sleep on the night it was picked up. The new owner of this baby is the big brother of a friend. He’s taking good care of the bike so there’s really no need to worry. I just miss the bike and all the good times we shared.
