AGNOSTIC FRONT
AF's new release "Riot, Riot Upstart" is out now of Hellcat/Epitaph
following on from "something's gotta give", "riot ..." is said to be their
record yet. There's a video for the song "Riot, Riot Upstart" on Eptiaph's

Agnostic Front will spend the rest of '99 touring the US.
ALKALINE TRIO are recording a new full length "Maybe I'll Catch Fire" scheduled to be out in February and is certainly eagerly anticipated. The trio spent '99 playing clubs in the US and recording the excellent "I lied my face off" EP, they also appeared on Asian Man's ARA comp. "Maybe I'll catch fire will be the bands 2nd album on Asian Man.
BOMBSHELL ROCKS
Bombshell Rocks Sweden's Top punk band have been touring the US with
the Dropkick Murphys, after a successful UK tour with Boston brawlers.
DROPKICK MURPHYS have a split 7" inch out with England's The BUSINESS. The 3 track features DKM covering the Business' 'Informer' and London's top Streetpunk band doing the Murphy's 'Streets of Boston' then both band team up for 'mob mentality' which is a taster for a joint album to come next year.
THE ECLECTICS have finally come back, with new members who previously
have played with The Fighters, Greenhouse, the
Skalars, & Chauncey. A small US tour was followed by some dates
in the UK and the rest of Europe.
The Chicago bands second record, "The Eclectics and Friends", will
include the new line up, as well as guest appearances from Dennis Buckley
(88 Finger Louie), Frankie Delmane (Teenage Frames), Tim Kinsella. (Joan
of Arc)
G-MEN. The Northern band's new album has been recorded and is in the final stages of mixing. Provisionally titled "The G-files", it will be released on North sea Recordings.
THE INCITERS. From the ashes of Durrango 95 come the Bay area's top soul band, "keep it burning" the bands debut will be out on Jump Up in January. Mixing 60's northern soul and ska, the 11 piece have played gigs with the Selecter, Desmond Decker and the Skatalites.
LINK 80 full length "Hella" will be out in February 2000 on Asian Man. It will be the bands first album since 1996's "17 reasons" and will be the bands first full length without the late Nick Traina. The band released a 7 track in 1997.
MILLENCOLIN'S home movie is now nearing release, entitled Millencolin and the Hi-8 Adventures. The 74 minute video features all of the bands video clips, interviews, live footage from around the world. The band has just finished their new album produced by Brett Gurewitz at Westbeach. The album is due out February 2000.
MIXTWITCH are Irish band who mainly play punk but mix in horns on some
occasions. They have a 3 track single out. Definitely worth getting if
your a NOFX fan, as one track "Golden goodness" sound like NOFX and is
a cool song to boot!

MU330 will release their fifth album, a Christmas special "Winter Wonderland". A fun album to get so you spend your holiday Singing along to all your Christmas fav's with Dan, Ted, Chris, Gerry, and Rob! By the way the band along with Link 80 and The Chinkees should head over to the UK in 2000 as part of an Asian Man tour package.
THE NEW BOMB TURKS are in the studio to produce an album for Epitaph ready for April 2000. The untitled album will be a follow up to 1998's "At Ropes end".
NOFX is going into the studio in November to record their next Epitaph release, now release date has been set, but you bet start saving your money for march time as there looks to be loads of albums coming out at around that time.

THE PIETASTERS have just finished the Awesome Mix Tour, in support of
their new
album Awesome Mix Tape #6. One leg of the bands tour saw them play
with Joe Strummer and the mescaleros.
RANCID are in the studio with Brett Gurewitz producing to record their
highly
anticipated and currently untitled new album scheduled to be released
spring 2000 on Hellcat Records.
SKANKIN' PICKLES' "Sing Along With Skankin' Pickle" has now been re-released on Asian Man, ex member and head of AM Mike Park has put together an extra 8 page booklet of photos to go with the release.
THE SLACKERS have been mixing it up on their latest US tour, Instead of playing the same sets night after night, the band are playing a different set for every gig and their encouraging fans to bring a tape recorder to their shows. The Slackers website is developing a section that will allow the bootleggers to communicate with each other, and swap tapes. Check out WWW.theslackers.Com
SOFTBALL! The Japanese all-girl high school band signed to Asian Man have been in the States to record a new album for release in February. Mixing power pop and punk the band release a taster for the LP, with a LIMITED EDITION 7" in December on Asian Man Records.
THE TEENAGE FRAMES have been touring the US with the likes of L7, the weaklings and Pansy Division to promote their new LP on Jump Up! 1% faster.
WOODROW are a fairly new ska/punk band from Dublin, signed to Treasure Ireland records, they currently have a 7 track out, that's well worth checking out. So contact them by email woodrow@oceanfree.net or for those of you with pen and paper write to 6 abbey park, Baldoyle, Dublin 13, Ireland.
WRITE OFFS. Unfortunately after last issues interview, the UK's top ska/punk band the Write-Offs have spilt. A couple of the members have gone off to Edinburgh, but some of the remaining members have been rehearsing for a new ska/punk outfit called Basher. Hopefully they'll be just as good as the original Yorkshire Skanksters, but if not all of the Write Offs material should be available on CD soon.
Jermaine Mossel, from the Netherlands has been working on a Madness concert file, and needs fellow Nutty boys to help out. He's already had the Invader years published in 'Nut Inc' but wants concert reviews, recordings, eye witness accounts, reports and newspaper reviews to help build up the complete madness concert file.
