SUKIE SNUGGLES INTO SLEEP Snuggled into a ball, so that she'll fit best, Sukie has homed in herself, next to my chest. How I love the soft black ,brown fur of her, and the sweet crackly humming purr of her. When I catch her thus, cuddled there next to me, I love that I'm her favorite place to me. copyright 2000 by Roland Ricker HOME EMAIL click for other Sukie poems: SUKIE THE CAT, A CALICO CAT IN COTTON SNOW, SUKIE THE IRISH CAT, SUKIE HAS A HISSY FIT SUKIE POUNCES ON THE MORNING |
