Today was a really really looooong day! Junior worship was great today; it was probably the best time of worship I've had with them=) Although I would've preferred it if I had my usual voice...stilll a li'l sick...

It's kinda late, so I'm not gonna go into too much details about my day...but in English service, we've been reciting this passage for the past month or two from Ephesians 4:2-3 and it goes like this:

"Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace."

I'm trying hard to live this out, but...man...is it hard!!! Just today, during one of our congregational meetings, there were some adults that kept snickering at the comments made by other people and it annoyed me sooo much cuz they were acting like ignorant li'l kids! And I just sat there and kept reciting the verse in my head!

There are times when I want to say things in those meetings, but being my age, it doesn't seem like the "appropriate" thing to do...and also, everything I think of to say is either not gentle or loving like it should be...I dunno...I was contemplating on writing something in the Burning Wick (with whatever Chinese literary skills I have) or the Lighthouse...I dunno...

Sorry for not having updated my blog earlier...I haven't had that much work, but I've been sick the past few days...started with a slightly sore throat on Wednesday...and progressed to a really sore throat and a cough...

Chinese school was really bad today...we had these short group presentations and it was our first official group presentations and we had no idea what was expected (we were the first group to go...)...and we were soooooo bad...=S I had a bad headache after school...and managed to get 2 hours of sleep in the afternoon...and I did a bit of homework and started designing my Christmas cards=P Took a shower, am now eating an apple and am feeling a bit better=)

Yesterday was mid-term report cards...all my marks dropped except for French...my overall average dropped 0.75% since last month=S...grrr....gotta keep working hard. One thing about having good grades is that it's hard to keep it up there, but it's soooo easy for it to go down if you just let down your guard on one small assignment=(

As for my mommy, thank you to everybody who's been praying for her=) Many of you have asked about her and have been keeping her in your prayers...so THANK YOU!!! Today, her right eye was a li'l droopy...She suspects it's the greater dose of botox and it's numbing her eye muscles more than it used to...but other than that, she's pretty good...just a li'l tired.

I better go to bed now...gotta wake up early for church...I'm leading Junior worship with Celine and Trevor tomorrow...I don't even know if I can sing...My voice is all hoarse and I crack on high notes=P That's the thing I hate about being sick...I can hardly hum, let alone sing=( That means I might not make it to choir practice either=S...and we're already so behind!

Hope I can sing tomorrow!

Well...Today was a day full of mixed feelings. Leading children's worship was very encouraging compared to last week's Junior Worship. The kids a lot more enthusiastic and it was more like they were leading me and showing me how to worship. It was quite an amazing experience=) I just pray that they'll never lose that joy they have when they worship...

Yesterday was my 5th baptism anniversary! Happy 5th anniversary to all the girls!!! You know who you are! I can't believe it's already been 5 years...Oh, and happy birthday to Jonathan (tomorrow) and Charlotte (on the 25th)...I think there was someone today...but I can't remember who=S...But happy birthday to whoever that has a birthday soon!!!

Also, please continue praying for my mommy...She kinda scared us today at dinner...She told us that she's been feeling extremely dizzy today...It might be side effects to the higher dose of botox...but we're not sure...So, yeah...

Hey everybody!!! It's Saturday and I'm actually done ALL MY WORK!!! Can you believe it!?! hehe...yes...I am very happy...I can actually REST tomorrow!

Well, as most of you know, my mommy has dystonia. She went to get her botox injections this Wednesday...I went with her and it hurt me to see her in so much pain...BUT...there is GOOD NEWS! The doctor said that the previous maximum dosage of 300 units has been increased to 400 units...so he gave my mom an extra 75 units than usual (and he didn't charge us for it either!!!)...yes, so hopefully the extra botox will relieve her strain a li'l more=)

And I also wanted to thank everybody who helped me thru my extremely stressful week=) I wouldn't have made it thru this week if God hadn't given me friends like you guys to help support me and comfort me when I'm feeling down... I just hope I can do the same for you=) So, no matter if it was just a smile, a "How are you doing?", a hug, a prayer, a "Thank you" or a helping hand, THANK YOU!!!

Âllo mes amies! Je suis désolé que je n’ai pas écrivé pour plus d’un semaine=(...If you didn't understand that...too bad=P)

Anyways, I've had a pretty packed weekend...I was out most of Saturday (Chinese school and then shopping for last minute stuff for the baptismal gifts...and helping Hubert and Bryan make their gifts=P...Anyways,after yesterday's baptism, we all headed over to Jeff's place and it was soooo crowded!!!

Today was a half day apparently for all the Peel District secondary schools. I got the joy of missing out on chilling out with the grade 11's (Sorry, Enoch!) and instead, got to get my flu shot (my arm's still numb), practice piano and then go to piano lessons=P *sigh* Oh well...

I've gotta go start some research for Friday's design tech presentation (it's on Japanese design...if you know anything remotely related...please share the info with me!!!), but I just wanted to leave you guys with 2 songs that I heard and learned over the weekend...They're "Hanging By A Moment" by Lifehouse and "Undignified" by Matt Redman.

Hey peoples!!! Today was a pretty busy day. I used a sewing machine for the first time in my life (for my design tech project)...and it was so frustrating! I had so much trouble doing it. After 7 hours of measuring, cutting, pinning, and sewing, the seat of the chair (my groups making a transformable piece of furniture - a combo of chair/table/cot) actually doesn't look to bad...however there are some other problems with it that we'll have to deal with later, cuz I'm too tired to deal with it now=P

Anyways, I'm really tired, so I think I'll go to bed now=)
