Ezekiel 4:4-7
(nrsv)

4 Then lie on your left side, and place the punishment of the house of Israel upon it; you shall bear their punishment for the number of the days that you lie there. 5 For I assign to you a number of days, three hundred ninety days, equal to the number of the years of their punishment; and so you shall bear the punishment of the house of Israel. 6 When you have completed these, you shall lie down a second time, but on your right side, and bear the punishment of the house of Judah; forty days I assign you, one day for each year. 7 You shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and with your arm bared you shall prophesy against it.

Humm!!
In Ezekiel 4:4-7, Ezekiel is told to lay on his left side one day for each year of Israel punishment (390days=390years) then on his right side for Judah's punishment (40 days = 40 years). The point being that God can use days to give a representation of future events that can take years in man's time.

Genesis 2:16-17

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, "You may freely eat of every tree of the garden; 17 but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall die."

Humm!!
Adam ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and did not die in that day he ate of it but lived many years afterwards to die at 930yrs. Since God is not a liar then obviously God's day is longer than a man's day.

Genesis 1:14-19

14 And God said, "Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the dome of the sky to give light upon the earth." And it was so. 16 God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. 17 God set them in the dome of the sky to give light upon the earth, 18 to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.

Humm!!
In creation the sun, and moon were not created till the fourth day which is what man uses to measure a day so what was God using to measure a day because according to Genesis there already had been 3 days before without the sun or moon?

2 Peter 3:8-10

8 But do not ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day. 9 The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some think of slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting any to perish, but all to come to repentance. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a loud noise, and the elements will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and everything that is done on it will be disclosed.

I think that Peter hits it right on the head in that one day of God's is worth a thousand years of man. Adam died before he reached a 1000yrs, in other words he died in that day he took of that fruit and every man has died ever since in a God's day with Methuselah living the longest at 969 years (Genesis 5:27).

Luke 24:1-7

The Resurrection of Jesus 24 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb, taking the spices that they had prepared. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they went in, they did not find the body. 4 While they were perplexed about this, suddenly two men in dazzling clothes stood beside them. 5 The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, but has risen. 6 Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, 7 that the Son of Man must be handed over to sinners, and be crucified, and on the third day rise again."

Humm!!
When Jesus died on the cross He rose from death early on the third day. So was that time period significant to future events?

Hosea 6:2-3

2 In two days he will put new life in us; on the third day he will raise us up so that we may live in his presence 3 and know him. Let's try to learn about the Lord; He will come to us as surely as the dawn comes. The Holy Bible : New Century Version , containing the Old and New Testaments. 1991. Dallas, TX: Word Bibles.

Humm!!
The only person who could put new life in us (His Holy Spirit) and raise us up is Jesus. Remember Jesus rose early on the 3rd day again this same time period being mentioned, 2 days of Jesus being away from mankind and early on the third day man again being in Jesus' presence.

John 16:7-15

7 But I tell you the truth, it is better for you that I go away. When I go away, I will send the Helper a to you. If I do not go away, the Helper will not come. 8 When the Helper comes, he will prove to the people of the world the truth about sin, about being right with God, and about judgment. 9 He will prove to them that sin is not believing in me. 10 He will prove to them that being right with God comes from my going to the Father and not being seen anymore. 11 And the Helper will prove to them that judgment happened when the ruler of this world was judged. 12 "I have many more things to say to you, but they are too much for you now. 13 But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you into all truth. He will not speak his own words, but he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is to come. 14 The Spirit of truth will bring glory to me, because he will take what I have to say and tell it to you. 15 All that the Father has is mine. That is why I said that the Spirit will take what I have to say and tell it to you.

Jesus' Spirit came to us when after dying on the cross He went to heaven and sent His Spirit to us just under 2000yrs ago or just under 2 God days ago.

Romans 8:16-17

16 And the Spirit himself joins with our spirits to say we are God's children. 17 If we are God's children, we will receive blessings from God together with Christ. But we must suffer as Christ suffered so that we will have glory as Christ has glory.

2 Corinthians 5:17-19

17 So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new! 18 All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us.

John 3:4-8

5 Jesus replied, "The truth is, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit.* 6 Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven. 7 So don't be surprised at my statement that you must be born again. 8 Just as you can hear the wind but can't tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can't explain how people are born of the Spirit."

It is the Holy Spirit that puts new life into those that believe in Jesus and the Holy Spirit Has been working for almost 2 God days or 2000 yrs so what about the final day talked about in Hosea where Jesus will raise us up to be in His presence? Is there an indication in the bible about this last 1000yrs before eternity?

Revelation 20:4-5

4 Then I saw thrones, and those seated on them were given authority to judge. I also saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony to Jesus and for the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.

Here is the final day where those that put their faith in Christ will be raised up to rule in that God's day of 1000yrs. 7 years before the last 1000yrs will begin, the tribulation will occur and the death of those that rebel against God will happen. The world has the means to destroy itself and will do so as soon as the restainer (Holy Spirit) is removed. God's people will be taken out before that occurs and those that rebel against God will destroy each other due mostly thanks to the Antichrist and man's own lawlessness.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-7

The Man of Lawlessness 2 As to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we beg you, brothers and sisters, 2 not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as though from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord is already here. 3 Let no one deceive you in any way; for that day will not come unless the rebellion comes first and the lawless one is revealed, the one destined for destruction. 4 He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, declaring himself to be God. 5 Do you not remember that I told you these things when I was still with you? 6 And you know what is now restraining him, so that he may be revealed when his time comes. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but only until the one who now restrains it is removed.

So how long before Jesus rules for 1000years can be answered by asking when did Jesus send the Holy Spirit to become one with His people and give them new life. At a guess I would say that we are 30 years short of that moment, 2000 years ago when this event occurred. 7 years before Christ returns, the tribulation is due to occurs which would bring the start of the tribulation no later than 2026 but probably will start earlier(2016?) due to the exact date of Christ resurrection not being known.

Ps The Jews say that the year is 5763 while western society says it's 2003. If we add the 4004yrs(before Christ) of man's presence then Christian would say the year would be 6007. I truly believe that both are wrong and the year is between these dates of 5763-6007. Point being that after 6000yrs have ticked over we are into the final 1000yrs of Christ rule and on the seven(th) time period seems to be always important between God and man. The seventh day (holyday and rest day-Genesis 2:1-3,Exodus 20:8-11), seventh mth (Day of atonement-Leviticus 16:29-31), seventh year (rest year for the land and for reading of the law-Exodus 23:10-11,Deuteronomy 31:9-11), 70 years (Man's resting from life-Psalm 90:10), 700years(Isaiah prediction of Jesus 700yrs later-Isaiah 7:10-15 Enoch taken to heaven700yrs after the birth of Adam), and why should the coming 1000 year that will conclude the 7000 years be any different especially since the bible states that 1000 years Christ will rule? It certainly will be the right time for that 1000 years if God is consistent which He is.

Genesis 2:1-3

2 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all their multitude. 2 And on the seventh day God finished the work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all the work that he had done. 3 So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that he had done in creation.

Leviticus 16:29-31

29 This shall be a statute to you forever: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall deny yourselves, and shall do no work, neither the citizen nor the alien who resides among you. 30 For on this day atonement shall be made for you, to cleanse you; from all your sins you shall be clean before the Lord. 31 It is a Sabbath of complete rest to you, and you shall deny yourselves; it is a statute forever

Exodus 23:10-11

Sabbatical Year and Sabbath 10 For six years you shall sow your land and gather in its yield; 11 but the seventh year you shall let it rest and lie fallow, so that the poor of your people may eat; and what they leave the wild animals may eat. You shall do the same with your vineyard, and with your olive orchard.

Deuteronomy 31:9-11

The Law to Be Read Every Seventh Year 9 Then Moses wrote down this law, and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi, who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel. 10 Moses commanded them: "Every seventh year, in the scheduled year of remission, during the festival of booths, 11 when all Israel comes to appear before the Lord your God at the place that he will choose, you shall read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

Deuteronomy 31:9-10

9 So Moses wrote down God's Law and gave it to the Levitical priests, who were in charge of the Lord's Covenant Box, and to the leaders of Israel. 10He commanded them, "At the end of every seven years, when the year that debts are cancelled comes round, read this aloud at the Festival of Shelters.

Isaiah 7:10-15

Isaiah Gives Ahaz the Sign of Immanuel
10 Again the Lord spoke to Ahaz, saying, 11 Ask a sign of the Lord your God; let it be deep as Sheol or high as heaven. 12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, and I will not put the Lord to the test. 13 Then Isaiah said: "Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary mortals, that you weary my God also? 14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Look, the young woman (virgin) is with child and shall bear a son, and shall name him Immanuel.

700years from Isaiah prediction of God coming into the world the birth of Christ occurred. 700years from Adams birth to God taking Enoch to heaven. So why should the 1000yr rule of the Messiah not commence after the 6000 year in other word in the 7000 year of man's history(0-999=first thousand,1000-1999=2nd thousand,6000-6999=7th thousand yr period).

The number of the beast is 666 and it seems to be a tag of ownership. Three years 1998 1999 and 2000 have 666 written through them in rather a unique way. The year 1998 is a combination of 3 x 666(beasts) and from the bible we know that there are three beasts: One called the beast, another called the false prophet(2nd beast), and one called the dragon (from Revelation16:13). If we look at the year 1999 and know a bit about how the devil worshippers perform their black mass in that they mimic the Christian Mass but do everything backwards and turn things upside down, e.g.. the Cross, then the way of looking at the year 1999 through the devil worshippers eyes, would be 6661 or the way I see it -the beast-666 (is) 1. Note also that the Euro nations started using the Euro in January 1999(the beast becoming 1).

And the 3rd evil year 2000 which if we divided it by the 3(beast,false prophet and the dragon) to get an individual number, the number we get is 666.666 666 666 reoccurring or as I see it evil reigning world events from the year 2000 onwards which really does seem to be the case with people following the devil in ever increasing numbers especially the young (eg Harry Potter books) and even the moral decay in the churches themselves.

*The significance of the final status of Jerusalem should not be overlooked because at the present Jerusalem is controlled by Israel and there is no Jewish temple on the the Temple Mount but the bible indicates that in the end time (the 7 year tribulation before Christ return) the Jews will have their temple and Jerusalem will be given to the nations i.e. that is out of Israel's control. Whether this happens due to the final status talks on Jerusalem remains to be seen but the strong possibility of this happening is certainly there.

The Jewish people want to build their temple but can not, because the Temple Mount in Jerusalem is under Palestinian control; the Palestinian people want control over Jerusalem and want Jerusalem to be their capital but it is not, as Jerusalem is Israel's capital and it is under Israel's control. So what is the obvious solution to this problem but to give the Jewish people the right to build their temple on the Mount and to make Jerusalem an international city to please the Palestinians as well as the United Nations and the Roman Catholic Church who have also wanted this to happen for a number of years and now even some of the leadership of Israel seem to be headed in this direction .

*One other point that must also be mentioned is that God's chosen people were brought to a place of safety during the 7 bad years and not before, therefore I feel that like God's chosen people Israel (Jacob and his family) that were saved from certain death by Joseph, those that believe in Jesus and wish to be rescued at the time of the rapture will also be saved from certain death during the 7 bad years (the tribulation years) by being taken out of the world since the world will be such a dangerous place to be in the last 3 and a half years of the tribulation.

1 THESSALONIANS 5:1-3

Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labour pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

Like a thief, the Lord comes and takes away his precious believers from Satan's grasp during the 7 year tribulation period, during a time of global short lived peace. The beginning of the 7 year peace deal (the tribulation period) will coincide with the building of the Jewish temple and the witnessing of the two witnesses so if these things don't happen around the same time then it is not the tribulation period yet.

*It must be noted that it still is God that decides exactly when things are allowed to happen and if He decides to prolong time for bringing people closer to Him then that's just what he will do. Read Jonah 3 to see what I mean, because the people of that city repented it was not destroyed when God said it was to be destroyed but much later.
