At last! Marta has won a match again :)!! She has defeated Sylivia Plischke 1-6 6-2 6-3. Marta had to back from a disaster start to secure a place in the next round. She will face Alexandra Stevenson in the 2nd round. Go Marta!!

It couldnt be. Marta & Francesca have been defeated by de Villiers & Martincova 7-5 6-3. Anyway Marta will get a very needed points to climb in her doubles ranking.

Marta & Francesca reached the quarters with no need to go to the court as Henrieta Nagyova retired injured. Marta & Schiavone will play tomorrow Nannie De Villiers & Eva Martincova (Rsa/Svk) for a place in the semifinals. ¡¡Good luck girls!!

Not only bad news from Leipzing. Marta will be in the doubles main draw after the young star & her partner Francesca Schivone (Ita) defeated in the qualifying round Jenny Kuehn / Annette Kolb from Germany 8-1 & Bianka Lamade / Liga Dekmeijere (Ger/Lat) 3-6 6-2 6-3 respectively.
Marta & Francesca will face in the first round Henrieta Nagyova & Barbara Schett (Svk/Aut). Good luck girls!!

An other horrible day for the girls. María José continues without offering no resistence as she lost to Petra Mandula 6-3 6-4. Marta however continues without being able to close certain matches as she lost to local Mia Buric 4-6 7-6 7-5...

Marta & Mariajo will play the qualifying round at Leipzig, Germany. Marta will face in the first round Mia Buric, a wc from Germany while Maria Jose will play Petra Mandula (Hun) again as she lost to the young star earlly this season on clay

Marta & Mariajo wont take part of any tournament this week so we will probabily see them again playing at Leipzig tournament next week.

Marta & Mariajo finished their run at the Brazil Open without a victory. Both players have lost in the singles and doubles' first round. Marta lost to Seda Noorlander (Ned) 6-1 1-6 6-3 and in doubles (w/Andrea Glass (Ger)) against B.Lamade / P.Schnyder (Ger/Sui) 7-6 1-6 7-5. Mariajo was destroyed by Henrieta Nagyova 6-1 6-0 in singles and 6-0 7-5 in doubles with Germany's Barbara Rittner. Mariajo played with Anabel Medina from Spain.
Next tournament for Marta will be Tokyo which begins on Monday. It's also the next tourny for Mariajo.

Marta will play her doubles match today with Andrea Glass from Germany. They will face Bianka Lamade & Patty Schnyder (Ger/Sui) in the first round. Marta will play her first singles match on Monday.
By the way, Mariajo & Anabel Medina (Esp) are seed 3 in the doubles draw and they will play Nagyova / Rittner (Svk/Ger) in the first round on Tuesday. Maria Jose also will play her first singles match that day.
