Missing Something Sacred

Sibling bonds are forever

My birth sister was given up for adoption about 2 years before I was born. We have the same mother and father. My mom was only 15 years old when she got pregnant. Her parents were strict catholics and I don't think she had another option. When she was 17 she got pregnant again, this time she and my father got married. They were divorced when I was 2 and she later remarried. I have 2 brothers from a different father. Those 2 boys are the most important things in my life. I can only imagine how close my sister & I could be.

I'm not sure if I'm accurate or not on the facts but I believe my sister was born on either New Years Eve or New Years Day. I am 25 so she is probably around 27 yrs old. She was born at St. Elizabeth's home in Beech Grove, In. (address might show Indianpolis, In).

I think it is unfair that she and I had no choice in the matter, yet we are missing something so sacred. I do not blame my parents or my grandparents--I know they just had her best interest in mind. I hope she had led a wonderful life but I would really like to just have the chance to get to know my sister. She also has two great brothers that would love to meet her!
