Nursing Informatics: Nursing E-mail Lists

Nursing E-Mail Lists are also called Listservs. Users subscribe to e-mail lists according to the topic areas that interest them. Users receive messages posted to the e-mail list server. Users also respond to the messages as desired. Listservs are excellent for communication of information regarding various interest areas. Some services are moderated which means someone determines if each posting is appropriate for the list. Other e-mail lists are not moderated.
