I was telling my husband about the discussions about DOB and folks talking of what night to do the memorial service.
He spoke up.
He said when you did that you were to remember His death, and it was to be done until He returned. We remember a date something happened once a year.
What He did was establish something new.
Matt: 26:28 This is my blood of the NEW COVENANT which is shed for many of remission of sins. ( a new covenant does not do a way with the day created to worship Him on as it was made at creation)
It was unlike the one before.
He our Passover was killed between the two evenings. Sunset - sunset.
At the same time the Jews killed the Passover.
We are are told the new covenant is not like the one made with their fathers with Moses.
Gal:3:19 Why then was the law, it was added because of sin. It was until the promised Seed, the Messiah should come. He did come in flesh. He died and was raised again.
The promise was made to Abraham.
We see the apostles taught the new covenant not the old.
We see that you can not take the new and add to the old. It is separate unlike the other.
