Mr. Roberts has submitted this line to the WFT Vol. 1, Tree #5885. He had Hiram's father as John b. 1772 s/o John b. 1710. As first John would have been 62 when second John was born,I have taken the liberty of putting him here as Howard Langston does in his book. E.P.
Mr. Robert's Note:
Third son of John Langston was born in Logan Co., KY. Was a soldier in the war of 1812. After the war, he moved to Huntsville, AL, then to Coffeetown, also where Langston Coffee was the first postmaster. Later Coffeetown was moved a mile further down the Tennessee River and Coffeetown became known as Langston, AL.

William, James Harrison and Thomas Jefferson were the brothers who went to Texas. William came to Alpine late in life, married and lived on a farm near Alpine. Never had any children.
