Mashed's vehicles

My first vehicle was a nice new 99 Honda accord LX V-6. It had a 3.0 VTEC V-6 making 200HP. Let me tell you for a mama's car Honda made this thing HAUL! 0-60 in 7.6 seconds, not great, but for a stock 4 door, family hauling car it has zip. It rides like a new car should, and handles great. The only problem is they didn't offer the V-6's with a manual transmission back before 2003, which is REALLY a bad idea. Because of this and other considerations I let my mom take over the payments and ownership completely and bought my 78 stepside. The v6 accord has however stayed in my life. I am now a active member at v6 performance.net including their research and development team. I love these things.

After de-coding the VIN, I found that the truck originally came with a 4bbl 350 v-8, was made in London, Canada and was the 59,065 unit built.

As soon as I can I'm going to start on my next engine for it. It is going to be 478cid total. It will have a 4.5" bore and a 3.76" stroke. 11:1 forged pistons, forged connecting rods, and a forged crank will be used. Aluminum AFR 310cc heads, a Edelbrock victor jr intake, and a demon 850-900cfm carb.A roller cam, full roller rockers and mechanical roller lifters will also be used. A aftermarket oil pan with windage tray will be used along with a crank scraper. 1 7/8" headman headers will help with the exaust. A complete MSD ignition consisting of MSD billet distributor, 6AL ignition blaster 2 coil and 8.5mm wires. ARP head, crank and header studs; Wav-loc connecting rod bolts. Basically anything that can be replaced by ARP will be. All for only about $10,000! hehe. This engine is and will continue to be in the planning phase until it is built and changes will be made, but this is what I would like.

I just want to thank a on-line friend of mine who has givin me so much advise [and possibly saved my head when I put my drop spindles on] it just wouldn't be right for me to not mention him. Thanks Chris [aka captkaos]
