Well news of the czl front. I have almost 20 ppl on roster yet i barely get enough to show to actually play. I know most of you guys can't make it due to the 5pm est time and those that show are gettin swarmed due to not enough ppl greening since there aren't enough showing to green for you in the first place. I wanna thank those that have showed up consistently but i believe it is time for Warlords to drop out of czl. I would rather be doing something else then show for a czl match where we're short handed. Czl is a joke.. the lag during czl is a joke.. the start time is a joke (get there by 5 just to wait for the ref to start it up by 6 ).. unless anyone else wants to capt czl i will ns the rest of the so called matches. I think the rules state 2 ns and the squad is dropped from czl. I have the pass for squad admin duties for roster and such, so if you want to take over email me and i will send you the pass and transfer capt to you. Sry its come down to this but i don't think most of you mind since even some of the regular players that show are sick of the turn outs for czl, not to mention the lag. Btw we are on the top tier with 4 or 5 other squads.

We have a match in AmLeague on Sunday@4pm ET vs. monologic. Sorry for the early start time but they are claiming Euro status. They are a decent team so we need you to all show up and get there early as you can to practice and test connections. I also suggest that you go to Subspace.net or SubspaceHQ and download the new SS client Continuum. It boasts new features like transparent radar and message boxes along with better performance. I am telling you now it will help you to play better. So get it! I will post some links to Continuum dowloads on the menu bar.

I have no idea what is going on in UL. I have heard nothing from hallu or Grifter in regards to our 2 matches that must be played this weekend. If I hear anything before we no show I will let you know.

We lost to Redhawks in AmLeague by a score of 12-7 MVP Thwk.(6-1). I am not sure what we did wrong in this match but I suspect a couple of early deaths hurt us pretty bad. The AmLeague match vs. Redhawks is confirmed for Sunday@4pm ET. Try and get there a bit early to check connects and warm up maybe even get in a practice or 2. These guys are Euros and I hear they have some pretty tight teamwork so we will have to do our best to beat them and concentrate on one target only as much as possible. This means no firing into the red on a non-target or else you will be unable to get the kill shot on a weak target. If we play tight and work on one target at a time we will be able to beat these guys. See you at the match!

Sorry for my lack of posts the past week, I just really haven't had anything to update you on as far as league or SS is concerned. I hope all of you had a nice holiday and enjoyed the time off from league. I will let you all know when our matches in UL and Am will take place as soon as I hear from space and hallu.

I am sure by now most of you have heard about the release of Cosmic Rift. It is a new game designed by the makers of Subspace and Infantry. It is based entirely on the Infantry engine and is basically Infantry with Subspace like graphics slapped on top of it. I played this game for a couple of hours yesterday and I have to say I kind of like it myself. It could definitely use some improvement but overall a very good start. What the game is basically turning out to be is Subspace 2. If you want to check it out for yourself then go to http://cosmicrift.station.sony.com/ and give it a try.

I have good news and bad news. Good news is we are 3-1 in AmLeague so far this season. Bad news is we are 3-1 in AmLeague so far this season heh. We suffered our first lost this season in AmLeague to H Y P E by a score of 12-3 MVP Leary(4-0). Man that was a tough match. We didn't have that much trouble staying alive except for all the darn teamkills. What we had trouble with was making those guys take enough damage to die. They just seemed to suck it up and keep firing. Their s2c numbers looked decent but who knows what their packetloss could have been, in any case they were tanks. In UL our match vs. PB-Elite had to be postponed because they would have no showed. Since we had the match time bumped forward so it wasn't the same time as our AmL match it is only fair to give them a chance to play us on even ground. So we may have to play 2 matches next weekend in UL although I am not sure. I will let you know what is going on as soon as I hear from hallu.

Sorry this confirmation is late, was trying to wait until the UL schedule was up too. We are confirmed at 5 PM EST in AM against HYPE. Unfortunatly we are also confirmed at 5 PM EST in UL against PB-Elite (possible no show). I have been trying to shift that time but the stupid UL scheduling board would not allow me to log on for the last 2 1/2 days. We will concentrate on the AM match and Hallu and I will work something out for the UL match...stay tuned.

I just received this email from space herpe regarding our upcoming match vs. H Y P E:

Yo Warlords!

Yea Right! It looks like we will have our next AM League Match this Sunday at 5 PM EST. They wanted an early time, I wanted a late time so we compromised on a 5 PM time. Both Capts have agreed to the 5 PM EST time, but it will not be confirmed until tomm. HYPE will be our first big test of the season, these guys are an upper midlevel squad, so try to get your game on before we face them. I would like to remind you all to not fire at anything aceept the target, and dont even fire at the target untill you have someone backing you up. To over come the lag you need at least one gun to weaken the target with another gun to finish them off. this will be very important to follow this match. I want no one on one gun duels, nor do I want any firing at non-targets. Follow the direction from the off-field coach and concentrate at that coaches target. If we do this I feel we should win this. I will send out a confirmation e-mail tomm. As always, if you can't make the match, please let me know.

It was an awesome weekend for us in League. In AmLeague we beat Putos by a score of 12-6 MVP DaLinx(5-0). This was an easy match for us, but it could have been easier if you guys would have been attacking the targets I was calling. In United League we played our make up match vs. BegInner Circle and beat them by a score of 12-2 MVP Grifter and Dobermann(3-0). This match was like playing a bunch of Trench Wars players. We allowed them a non team sub so they would have 4 players to play aagainst us. All of our starters each got 3 kills, so we spread out the kills amongst our team. Can someone here please come and fix my frickin' dsl??!?!!?!?! A week and a half and I'm getting pretty tired of run around I'm gettingfrom telocity... The problem is that there are three players involved -- Telocity (internet to my local CO), Ameritech (telco that gets from theCO to the outside of my house), and Rhythms (from the outside of my house to the dsl modem inside). It's hard to talk to anyone but Telocity, and I'm getting no response from Rhythms/Ameritech -- I'm not even sure ifthey've done a check to know if it's inside or outside the house...

Ok now to the fun stuff -- UL match against Beginner's Circle is this Sunday at 6pm ET.
