Old Sears chassis donated by a neighbor; it has since been painted black. The flammable liquid powered engine was completely rusted up. Made a blade adapter out of a pulley to fasten to the electric motor shaft. Now (summer 97) has adjustable rear wheels and a rear deck guard (heavy neoprene rubber to keep things from hitting ankles). Still needs a spring loaded power switch and guards on the exit chute (or grass catcher). The chassis is very rugged and will stop a loose blade (as proved with an initial design).
