Major happenings in the last month of fantasy football.
J.Mattimoe clinches victory in the final 4 weeks of the football season after rivals A.Fletcher and M.Mattimoe led the league for most of the season.

The season 00/01 started so well for A.Fletcher and M.Mattimoe as both flew strongly into a huge lead over J.Mattimoe. The gap being an enormous 225 points at half way through the season on Week 17.

M.Mattimoe was 1st to set the pace and led the league for the 1st 6 weeks followed closely by A.Fletcher. This was mainly due to the overwelming play of  Thiery Henry for M.Mattimoe and the Brazilian Silvinho for A.Fletcher.

By Week 6 A.Fletcher took over the reigns at the top of the league for a huge 11 Weeks until Silvinho ran out of favour at Highbury due to englishman Ashly Cole.

Then at Week 17 M.Mattimoe took over again due to inform Henry and also Sander Westerveld the goalkeeper. Here M.Mattimoe had the lead for a record breaking 14 Weeks. Which was only 4 Weeks shy of the total season.

From there on Week 31 the underdog J.Mattimoe came from no where to take the lead for the very 1ST time of the season.
This was due to hard work, dedication and some excellent transfer decisions at the half way stage of the season.

From Week 17 the race was really on, J.Mattimoe knew it was time to catch up some 225 points with some 18 Weeks remaining.
The star transfers were Rio Ferdinand, Julio Arca and in-form striker Marcus Stewart.

Together they all made an excellent squad with other star names such as Sami Hypia, Carl Cort, Harry Kewell, Mark Schwarzer, Joe Cloe, Frank Lampard and Richard Rufus.

For the remaining 4 Weeks J.Mattimoe stayed top of the league at such a critical part of the season to M.Mattimoe's disappointment.

From about 225 points down on Week 17 J.Mattimoe pulled off an unbelievable comeback to finish a huge 78 points clear at the top of the table from 2nd placed M.Mattimoe and also 267 points clear of 3rd placed A.Fletcher.
