Sailing in Scotland

Summer 1999 & 2000

Scotland, especially the Western isles, Hebrides and Shetland, north of the mainland are one of the best cruising grounds in the world.
Here are some pictures from our sailing in Scotland in our current boat. We started in Stockholm and went to Shetland via Norway. Then down to Inverness and through the Caledonian canal and out to the Inner Hebrides. After that we left the boat in Oban for the winter and continued the year after.
Then we went out to the outer Hebrides, rounded Cape Wraith and went through the Orkneys and over to Denmark from Wick in northern Scotland.
