"And...CUT!” the director said, “Great job Matt! Nice work Stephanie! You two work so well together.” “Thanks.” both Matt and Stephanie said. This is Stephanie Chadwick’s first movie and she is co-starring with Matt O’Leary. They are playing two friends who find out that Danny’s (Matt) mother and Katie’s (Stephanie) guardian are getting married. They find it out just when they realize they like each other as more than just friends. Meanwhile, in the real world, Stephanie is crushing real hard on Matt, but one problem, he has a girlfriend. She’s sort of bummed about it; but she hardly ever sees them together, and when they are Mandy is always fussing about how he never spends time with her. Stephanie knows deep down Matt doesn’t really like Mandy, but she’s just going to leave it at that, because she doesn‘t want to ruin she and Matt‘s friendship. “Ok guys back on the set.” the director yelled.
“So my mom and I are having dinner tonight, and we‘re meeting her boyfriend, I‘d do a lot better is you were there, do you wanna come?” Danny said. “Sure! I’d really like to meet your mom. Oh wait...I’m supposed to have dinner with Jim tonight. Sorry.” Katie replied. “Oh all right. You told me before you don’t like him. Why don’t you live somewhere else?” Danny asked. “I don’t have anywhere else to go. My parents said he was my guardian if anything happened to them. He’s all I got. It’d be ok, but he just scares me. And he has k...never mind. I’ll be fine.” she said. “Ok but you have my number if you ever need anything.” Danny said. “Ok thanks.” Katie smiled. Danny smiled back. “What are you looking at me like that for?” Katie asked laughing. “Oh no reason. Hey I better go. See ya later Kates!” Danny said leaving. “Later Daniel!” she said. Danny turned around and said, “Don’t call me Daniel!” he laughed. “Bye!” she said walking away laughing. “CUT! That’s all for today! See all of you in the morning.” the director said.
“You were great today!” Matt told Stephanie. “Thanks, you were too!” she told him, ‘Though you are every day.’ she thought to herself. “I guess I’ll see you tomorrow.” Matt said looking at Stephanie. “Yeah see ya then.” she said looking him in the eyes. They were both caught in a daze when they heard someone yell, “Matthew Joseph O’Leary, where are you?” It was Mandy. They snapped out of it when she came up. “There you are. Why didn’t you answer? I was...” she looked at Stephanie, “Oh, hi Stephanie!” she said rolling her eyes. “Hey, I gotta go. See you later!” she said and ran off. “Ha! Anyway, Matt let’s go. I wanna party!” she said. “No I can’t. I’m really tired and I have to get up early tomorrow.” he said as he went to kiss her cheek. She moved away, “Ugh! When it comes to me you’re tired, but for her you have all the time in the world!” Stephanie came back to get her purse she forgot and she overheard Matt, “Mandy, she’s my co-star! I have to hang with her! It’s my job!” ’I thought we were friends?’ she thought to herself. Steph ran away trying not to cry. “And we are just friends!” he finished. “It doesn’t look that way anymore!” Mandy grinned as she pointed to Stephanie. “What?” he said as he looked, “Oh no!” he said as he started to run after her. “MATT!!” Mandy yelled. “I’ll be right back!” he yelled as he got to the door Steph just ran out. “It’s me or her Matthew! You walk out of that door I’m out of your life forever!!” she yelled. Matt stopped. He thought about how Mandy treated him, and how Stephanie treated him. And how he would rather have one friend like Stephanie, than ten Mandy’s. “Bye!!” he said and ran out the door. “UGH!!!!” she yelled and stomped away.
“Stephanie! Wait up!!” Matt yelled. As he caught up with her she said, “Why are you talking to me off set?” she said as she was getting into a limo. “Let me explain that!” he said leaning in the car. “There’s no need to explain. I thought we were friends but I guess not.” she said. “We ar..” he started. “Don’t worry I won’t have anything to do with you off set! You can go back to Mandy. I thought I was falli...never mind now! I have to go.” she said shutting the door. “Stephanie...” he said as the window rolled up and the car drove away. ‘Oh man!’ he thought as he went and got in his limo.
