As a student of the University of Macau, I think the canteen we are most
familiar with is the Cafˆm E.S.Kimo, which is in the campus.
The Cafˆm E.S.Kimo is divided into two parts, the fast food area and the
service area. The fast food area is comparably busier on weekdays as the
service is faster and the food is really beneficial. The typical choice
of the students in daily time is two in one set meal, from which
students are allowed to choose two dishes among the five choices
provided. The nutrition is well balanced in this way and students can
change their choices depending on their preferences every day.
One word to conclude the fast food area is beneficial. Students only
need to pay about 14 patacas to enjoy a delicious meal. |

The service area provides better quality service as it has a quieter and
more comfortable environment, compared to the fast food area. Here we
recommend three typical dishes provided by the service area. |

Mixed Mushroom and Vegetable with Rice
Laid on the rice are three kinds of mushrooms stirred together with tiny
bits of green pepper, red pepper and carrots. And the rice is poured
with thick gravy. The taste is typically light and not so rich. If
you¡¦re getting tired of too much fat, it is a good alternative for you
to try this meal. |

Pineapple Fried Curry Rice
The frying style is quite different from the Chinese tradition. The main
raw materials are chicken, sausage, pineapples, corn, beans and so on,
which are cut into pieces or bits while fired with curry source. The
curry source is just OK and doesn¡¦t affect the original delicate flavor
of the pineapples. Besides, the chicken doesn¡¦t feel so rich because of
the bits of pineapples. As a whole, the properly matched materials make
the dish worth tasting. It is said that this dish is especially fit for
those who want to lose weight as it contains less fat.

Chicken Wings with Japanese Hand Pulled Noodles
The hand pulled noodles are flexible and soft with the delicious pig
bone soup. Moreover, the outside skin of the chicken wings is fried
crispy. Usually, some seasonable vegetables and half of a soy sauce egg
are also laid on the noodles. The nutrition is well balanced shown from
the ingredients. It¡¦s especially a good choice on cold winter days
because of the noodle is served hot, giving you a comfortable feel.
