    Since the majority of the population in Macau is Chinese, the Chinese cuisine is most popular among Macanese. Chinese cuisine culture varies from main dishes, such as steamed fish, to refreshments, such as dumplings, noodles, which can also be seen from the Macau food.

    The main style of the cuisine in every Chinese city differs from each other. As a result, though Macau is very small in size, the cuisine kind in Macau has different kinds of variants. Beijing duck, Shanghai wonton and Szechwan hot food etc. can be found in Macau's restaurants.

    If you prefer something formal, you'll be able to taste like roast chicken, Wuxi spareribs in Macau's restaurants. If you just prefer something ordinary or informal, the set meals provided also fit you. You can try hand-pulled noodles, or shrimp wanton, congee or some set meals.  Even some small restaurants have their own ways to boil congee of good quality.

    The daily cuisine of the Macanese is also worth tasting.  The Chinese traditional style, mainly Cantonese, mixed with some other styles, maybe from abroad, makes the cuisine more enhanced while not losing the original nature. The following is the introduction to three restaurants, Cafe E.S.Kimo, Sio Hong Mao and Taipei City, which we think beneficial. Main dishes served in the restaurant may not be as popular as those by famous restaurants. But the restaurants do have some advantages in providing the traditional Chinese food, like noodles and rice.
