Enigma w/The Hobo

versus

Mr. Perfection

Singles Match

Referee: Brian Ford

Writer: Ed Walker

JP: I'm looking forward to this match, it should be a good contest between two very good athletes.

Sully: Enigma's been on good form lately and I can't wait to see what he can do here.

JP: He's up against Mr. Perfection who is still looking for a victory in the MWF and he'd better hurry up because this could be his last match.

Sully: I don't think the MWF will let him go. He has too much talent.

JP: CEO Walker is getting ruthless. He wants to cut down the roster a bit before those Christmas bonus' have to be paid out.

Sully: Yeah, that would make sense. "The Master Plan" have been steadily improving and they'll be wanting to keep their good run alive tonight especially Enigma.

[Peter Santos is in the centre of the ring and he raises the mic to his lips.]

Peter Santos: This match is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, weighing in at 230 lbs., representing "The Master Plan" and accompanied by The Hobo, Enigma!

[P.O.D's "Youth of the Nation" hits the PA system and the crowd explode as Enigma comes out from behind the entrance curtain. The Hobo follows behind him with the MWF Tag Team Championship on his shoulder.]

JP: "The Master Plan" are a disgrace to the MWF.

Sully: Why? I think they are great. Tempest is a genius and eventually some of it will rub off on Enigma and The Hobo.

JP: I think these two are smarter than they look and they would be a damn sight smarter if they ditched Tempest and went their own way.

Sully: Tempest is not someone you want as your enemy.

[Enigma is reaching the ring. He hits the ring and slides into it, he goes to the turnbuckle and the crowd jeer as he climbs it and taunts at them.]

Peter Santos: And the opponent, from Hollywood, California, weighing in at 280 lbs., Mr. Perfection!

["Here Comes Perfection" blasts from the PA system and the crowd jeer as Mr. Perfection comes out with pink and orange lights flashing. He smiles at the booing crowd and looks down at Enigma who is pacing the ring and preparing for the match.]

JP: Mr. Perfection, he has a lot to live up to tonight.

Sully: Yeah he does. I can see him putting up a strong challenge against Enigma, "The Master Plan" are unstoppable at the moment though and there is talk of Enigma challenging for the MWF World Heavyweight Championship soon.

JP: Surely Tempest would have first claim to it? He has pinned Thunder Bull a number of times.

Sully: Thunder Bull is reported to be watching Enigma and not Tempest.

[The two wrestlers are now in the ring and referee, Brian Ford, checks Mr. Perfection for any weapons before Mr. Perfection removes his t-shirt and prepares to do battle. The bell sounds and Enigma turns to face his opponent, he looks a little slow as Mr. Perfection bounds across the ring and the two lock up. Mr. Perfection has the weight advantage and the crowd jeer as Mr. Perfection leans into Enigma and forces him back against the turnbuckle. Boos echo around the arena as Enigma knees Mr. Perfection in the groin and rolls out from underneath his grasp. The Hobo applauds as Enigma comes behind Mr. Perfection and shoves him head first into the turnbuckle. Mr. Perfection rears back holding his head and Enigma ducks round the front of him and grabs Mr. Perfection. Enigma executes a snap DDT that has Mr. Perfection on the mat. Enigma covers ...1...2! Mr. Perfection rolls the shoulder.]

JP: Enigma using his experience there.

Sully: Mr. Perfection might be a fresh faced rookie but he's not going to stay down tonight. He will be fighting like mad.

JP: I'm sure he will but I doubt he can compete with Enigma's speed.

Sully: "The Master Plan" might be watching Mr. Perfection carefully, after all, there has been no replacement for Odin yet.

[Enigma pulls Mr. Perfection back up to his feet. The crowd are growing more interested in the contest as the two men trade blows. The Hobo spurs on his team mate and Mr. Perfection blocks a punch and uses his weight to aim a hard punch at the bridge of Enigma's nose. "The Master Plan" member squeals with pain and Mr. Perfection grabs him and executes a pile driver. The crowd gasp at the impact of the move and The Hobo looks concerned for his friend. Enigma doesn't move straight away after the move and Mr. Perfection snarls and grabs Enigma by the hair. He is dragged to his feet and the crowd watch on as Mr. Perfection sends Enigma into the ropes and then comes back to be hit with a Samoan drop.]

JP: Good movement by Mr. Perfection. For a big man he is quite agile.

Sully: Enigma's starting to lose control of this match. If he loses, Tempest will not be best pleased.

JP: That pile driver shook the building I'm sure.

Sully: The crowd seemed to appreciate it.

[Mr. Perfection builds on his momentum, the crowd are growing quieter as the match continues. Enigma is sent running to the turnbuckle and he hits it...grabs the ropes and leaps up to the top rope. Mr. Perfection is caught off guard by the sudden burst of energy by Enigma. The crowd applaud the move as Enigma comes off the top rope and catches Mr. Perfection across the face with an aerial spinning heel kick! Mr. Perfection falls backwards onto the mat as Enigma rolls clear. Enigma scrambles to his feet and The Hobo leaps in the air with delight as Enigma runs to the ropes and comes back landing a lion sault. He hooks the leg and the crowd count while jeering ...1...2...! Mr. Perfection manages to kick out at the last second!]

JP: What!?

Sully: Mr. Perfection showing great resilience there!

JP: I can't believe he managed to wriggle his way round that.

Sully: Good strength, the management will be happy with that.

[Enigma looks at referee Brian Ford with a look of amazement, The Hobo shakes his head in disbelief. Enigma and Brian Ford start to argue, Enigma claiming it should of been a three count. Mr. Perfection is in a crouching position, Enigma turns round and Mr. Perfection grabs him and the cameras flash as he executes the Pure Perfection. Enigma is slammed into the mat and The Hobo drops the MWF Tag Team Championship and charges towards the ring as Brian Ford counts ...1..2..3! The fast count brings an end to it and Mr. Perfection punches the air with delight.]

JP: That count was very fast!

Sully: The Hobo is furious.

JP: But there is no need for that!

[The Hobo grabs Brian Ford and the crowd boo loudly as the referee is sent tumbling by a barrage of right hands from The Hobo. The MWF Tag Team Champion helps Enigma to his feet as Mr. Perfection makes a swift exit and walks up the ramp, shouting abuse at Enigma.]

Peter Santos: And your winner, through pin fall, Mr. Perfection!
