[The scene opens up to a large parking lot. The lot is filled to
the brim with cars. It seems the whole city is here to see the very
first Monday Night Dynamite of 2004. A dark figure approaches the
camera, the red dot of a cigarette can been seen. The figure's face
is now close enough to be seen…it's Sean Harley, The Phoenix is here
in Shelbyville, Indiana! The crowd greet him with boos and jeers.
Harley takes out his cig and begins to speak.]
Harley: Well look at what we got here a new
year upon us. A new year for the Phoenix to come back and do what he
does best, kick some ass and take some names. But of course a new
year is not just about me and how great I am, oh no. A new year is
all about looking back at what you have done and what you achieved,
looking back on the past year with pride. Many of you have probably
forgotten that I won the Television Championship last year in my
first pay per view, but of course I lost it to Troy on my title
defence. But enough about that. I came into the MWF as a Tag Team, Ed
Walker's No Claims Bonus with my good friend Scotty Heart. We
dominated the MWF until Scotty saw it was time to hang up his boots
and concentrate on his wrestling school back in the UK.
[Sean paces up and down the parking lot, he puts his cig back in
his mouth, he inhales then exhales.]
Harley: It seems I am the only one, who
actually cares about me. I am the only one looking out for The
Phoenix, Sean Harley or whatever you want to call me. The last time
anyone saw me was when I was getting beaten up by those bastards
Kronik lead by that moron Stoate. Well you know what, this is a new
year, a time to forgive and forget. Kronik I have forgiven and
forgotten. Dom Stoate, you are a different story. You should watch
your back as I haven't forgotten and I will never forgive you!
[Sean turns away walking into the darkness of the night. The
camera cuts back to the arena where JP and Sully are in front of the
camera, the crowd are almost giving off slight cheers at the sight of
Sean Harley,]
JP: Hello and welcome to Monday Night
Dynamite, what a dramatic opening that was...Sean Harley back on our
screens for the first time in weeks.
Sully: Where has he been hiding?
JP: Haven't you been paying attention, he
took a beating from Dom Stoate after "Divine Intervention" was forced
to close it's doors.
Sully: Ah yes I remember now, there was a
perfectly good reason for that because Dom Stoate realised Sean
Harley was a failure.
JP: The fans don't think that here in
Shelbyville, Indiana.....
Sully:...What would they know?
JP: They have every right to support Sean
Harley, he's probably been through hell these past few weeks having
been put on the sidelines by Stoate.
Sully: If there is one thing a wrestler
hates more than the fans, it has to be not being able to
wrestle...but if Harley had not listened to his ego for once and
focused more he could well be holding the MWF World Championship
right now.
JP: I doubt he would have gone as far as to
win it but he would of performed a hell of a lot better than he
did...he didn't even score a pin fall. He wouldn't of been able to
beat Troy Knight though.
Sully: You are still obsessed with that
decorated fool, Troy Knight is an excuse for a wrestler and I hope
tonight we are going to see his pretty boy features well and truly
smashed in.
JP: By Wildfire? Now Wildfire is a good
wrestler but there is the Troy Knight league and then there
is...everyone else.
Sully: Why is Troy Knight held at such a
high degree, everytime he gets in the ring he puts his son in danger
by having him at ringside and he wonders why his son gets
attacked.
JP: Because all the wrestlers he happens to
face are sick child beating numbskulls...
Sully:...No because they realise that if you
attack Bobby Knight you are doing more damage to Troy Knight than ten
of your finishers could.
JP: Not always true, Bobby is a resiliant
kid and he's survived that injury at the hands of Ace Spade...only
Ace Spade has truly attacked the young Knight and we all know the
kind of heart that Ace Spade has.
Sully: A determined one, he is the MWF World
Champion because he realised that the best champions always work
alone, so he took the solo life.
JP: As a person he's dispicable...I can't
believe he's still on the MWF's books.
Sully: You'd better start believing it, the
MWF World Championship only falls to a select few and Ace Spade is on
of those...a bit like the MWF Television Championship has now been
devalued beyond belief after being in the hands of Troy
Knight.
JP: This is the belt that Troy Knight has
cherished for months and you think it's devalued...it was devalued
when Wildfire cast it off without so much a thought.
Sully: Wildfire lived and breathed for the
MWF Television Championship, you must remember the incredible cage
match he had with Sam King, the matches with Rick Jones and he
wouldn't lose, Wildfire would not be beaten by such poor opposition
and tonight he will not lose to Troy Knight. Can we see that short
Wildfire cutting from last week?
JP: I believe it is planned to be shown
right about now...
Sully: ...Oh good, I enjoy seeing top
wrestlers more on the screen.
"The song, '96 quite bitter beings' plays as Wildfire's logo
appears on screen. The first image is of the time Wildfire peformed
the crisis from the top of the cage, a voice exclaims, "A man so
dominant". The second shot is as Wildfire cracks a chair around Sam
King's head, the voice says, " A man so careless". The next image is
of Wildfire lifting the TV championship on a turnbuckles, 'A man so
legendary'. The next is of his assault on The Ginga just a few weeks
ago, "A man so deadly'. The sadistic face of Wildfire locks upon
screen,
" Just add oxygen and you got a wildfire on your hands!"
The scene fades out."
