"everybody wants to be known"

[The crowd are on their feet as "Getaway" by The Music hits the PA system and the MWF rolls onto air...the fans wave banners stating various phrases from their favourite wrestlers. The camera swings away from the fans and focus' on John Pilkington and Tim Sullivan who sit at ringside.]

JP: Hello one and all and welcome to MWF Monday Night Dynamite!

Sully: We've got an amazing show for you to drool over this week, it's got everything you could possibly want from a wrestling show...

JP: Except for Troy Knight and The Jeopardizer, both men will not be in action tonight.

Sully: Such a shame, I won't miss them.

JP: Typical cynical Sully as usual, but we've got more than enough action to make up for it, not least the MWF World Champion defending his belt against a resurgent Anarkist in a flaming tables match!

Sully: It's going to be match of the night without a shadow of a doubt, Sam King has really begun to find his feet as MWF World Champion and now he has the chance to defeat one of his greatest rivals and threats for the belt.

JP: Anarkist is on his way back to the top of the MWF and he brushed aside Hart Evans last week and I think King will be glad he doesn't have to face Evans again after their encounter at Vacation.

Sully: That was a match and a half, I think we're going to take a look back at a truly historic match...the flaming tables were burning bright for Sam King and Hart Evans, take a look at this...

{{{[The handcuffs have some lose and they hang lose from the wrist of Hart Evans, they've been melted slightly by the inferno that Hart Evans landed in...."The King" staggers over to Hart Evans and grabs the hair of "The Headliner" and drags him away from the inferno, he rolls Hart Evans onto his front and then spits right in the eye of Hart Evans and shouts something at him, Hart Evans doesn't reply. Sam King lets go of the hair of Hart Evans and slides from the ring, Rick Jones and Amanda are on the opposite side of the ring and they watch as Sam King grabs a table and sets it up outside of the ring.....he calls referee Forrest over, Forrest grabs the ligher fluid.]

JP: King's taking it to the outside...

Sully: Makes sense, he was the MWF Xtreme Champion once, he has a good grounding in the more Xtreme ways.

[Referee Forrest goes to light the table but King roars at him to leave it alone.....King grabs another table and begins to set it up ontop of the other one, the crowd begin to understand and cheer the second table...King signals for both tables to be set alight. "The King" slides back into the ring and Hart Evans is still down on the mat. Sam King grabs Hart Evans and leads him over to the turnbuckle, he begins to climb towards the top rope, dragging Hart Evans with him. The two men reach the top rope.]

JP: He's going to do it from there, this is insane, they could kill each other right here at Vacation.

Sully: I knew this was going to be a good tournament, but I didn't realise just how good it would be...it's been amazing night and this is going to finish it off.

JP: I can't watch anymore!

["The King" has Hart Evans in position and he shouts something, the crowd wait with baited breath and they scream as Hart Evans breaks the hold...both men wobble precariously on the top rope...Hart Evans looks to break the hold and twists his body, Sam King takes a chance, the former MWF Xtreme Champion has Hart Evans by the neck and he leaps off and spins the body of Hart Evans in the air and Evans goes crashing through the two flaming tables first with "The King" ontop of him...Chris Forrest waves his arms like mad and calls for the bell as the whole arena erupts!]

Sully: My God! They've done it....this match is over, Sam King has finally done what I thought he could do.

JP: This is a dark day for the MWF, Sam King is the MWF World Champion.

Sully: Two months ago he had his dreams shattered and now he has realised that dream and done what he set out to do.

JP: I can't beleieve it.

[Sam King crawls from the carnage as Rick Jones and Amanda rush to help Hart Evans who's hair has caught fire, Jones stamps on it to stop the fire spreading while Amanda places her arm around Evans who is unable to move. Medics sprint from the back, while Sam King staggers to his feet, his face signed slightly but tears are in his eyes as he realises what he's done.]}}}

JP: There was the moment when Sam King knew he was the MWF World Champion for the first time in his career, he now only needs the MWF TV Championship to become a complete champion.

Sully: It's currently vacant so you never know JP, he could sneak on in there and become a double champion.

JP: It's a shame The Jeopardizer isn't really in the mix otherwise he'd be in contention to be a double champion.

Sully: Yeah, but can The Jeopardizer raise his game to the level that Sam King has? I doubt it.

JP: You'd be surprised, The Jeopardizer has some amazing spirit and of course the valuable Fozzy backing him up.

Sully: Cheating bastard if ever I saw one...Fozzy's never been good for anything except seducing women!

JP: Strong words Sully, you really should watch that mouth of yours.

Sully: JP, using that mouth of yours, why don't you tell me what is coming up next...

JP: We have the debut of Ace Spade next and he has a very tough match in the shape of Freddy Ryder.

Sully: Spade has impressed me since joining and that Doris, phoar, what a woman....I'd hate to think she was screwing Troy Knight.

JP: Yes, Ace Spade has certainly had some big questions for Troy Knight to answer but it seems as if the "Troy Boy" is playing down any rumours, we'll have a little something for you later from the man himself.

Sully: Oh great, even more Troy Knight on our screens, can't he just disappear?

JP: I bet you're thankful he doesn't have a match tonight.

Sully: No, I was kind of hoping that he and Ace Spade would go at it and Ace would knock seven bells out of "Troy Boy"..Ace is "The Player" after all, except his Doris is being played by Troy.

JP: You think Freddy Ryder stands a chance tonight?

Sully: Probably not, he has the fans behind him which just puts even more pressure on his shoulders.

JP: It will help him tonight, a hgue advantage when facing someone as viscous as Ace Spade.

Sully: This will be a fight I have feeling we will be seeing in the future for a piece of gold in the MWF...

JP: We're going backstage first, the MWF President is in his office with a very important announcement about the vacated MWF Tag Team Championships.

Sully: Of course there are currently no tag team champions after Rick Jones and Hart Evans left the MWF last week...a sad day for the MWF when that happened.

JP: I didn't see many people crying.

[The camera opens up backstage with MWF President Edward Walker sitting at his desk...a placard reads the words 'MWF President' and Walker wipes his fingers across it and smiles to see it is spotlessly clean. Walker leans forward so that he is staring much nearer the camera.]

Walker: Yes, I am the most powerful man in the MWF and soon you will all realise that even more when Fozzy speaks to you later tonight.

[Walker leans back slightly, his hands clasped together as if ready for prayer.]

Walker: Last week I had to, with terrible sadness, withdraw the contracts of Rick Jones and Hart Evans. I had to sign away two of the MWF's most talented wrestlers because they didn't feel the MWF was right for them anymore and this left a void.

[Walker leans one arm on the table but lifts the other arm and runs it through his greying hair.]

Walker: The "Canadian Connection" were easily my favourite tag team of all time in the MWF, due to their accuracy and their willingness. Rick Jones and Hart Evans knew that they had to work hard and dedication was the name of the game, they never missed a house show.

[Walker's hand runs across his chin, about a day's worth of beard growth is scratched by Walker's fingers and a small smile spreads across his face, the whites of his teeth slighlty showing.]

Walker: I decided that we would need an MWF Tag Team to replace the mighty "Connection" who would be at the same level, if not greater. Looking around the MWF at the moment I see pairs of wrestlers who still have a long way to go to emulate the incredible style of the "Connection". We have the "Untouchables" who make a point of fighting against authority, well you shall be thanking the authority later.

[Walker grabs a photo frame, it shows a picture of the "Connection" with Walker standing beaming in the middle, the MWF Tag Team Championships are own the shoulders of Jones and Evans, Walker sighs.]

Walker: We have Scotty Heart and Sean Harley, two incredible athletes and the team that I see as the most worthy successors to the MWF Tag Team crown...but even they have work to do to try and match the "Connection". There will no doubt be another team...but to get to the point of my announcement.

[Walker's right hand drops and opens a drawer in his desk, he slides his hand in and pulls out the two MWF Tag Team belts, he wipes a speck of dust off and lays them on the topside of the desk.]

Walker: These belts represent hardwork, teamwork and dedication. They also show the prize that will be on the line at Implosion. I want three teams to come forward and present themselves to me, I want them to show me that they are the ones who should be standing in the ring at Imposion and hearing the crowd go wild as six men go at it in the hope of winning this incredible prize.

[The MWF President slides one of the belts onto his shoulder and looks proudly at the camera.]

Walker: To use an old phrase, this could be you come September...Implosion is there for the chance to be like this...don't waste it. You know where to find me, if you don't have a partner, then GOD DAMN FIND ONE!

[The camera snaps off and the crowd are wild with excitement in the room, the camera focus' on a banner stating 'Walker Killed MWF!'...JP and Sully are back on air.]

JP: Wow! What an announcement!

Sully: The MWF Tag Team Championships will be on the line at Implosion and Scotty Heart and Sean Harley will be able to stake their claim.

JP: Don't put their names on the belts yet, the "Untouchables" will tonight be showing that they're not just a flash in the pan, Kidman and EyCe have a lot to prove but they know they can do it.

Sully: Perhaps another team will step into the fold? I always think that Sam King should get a new tag team partner and stom to tag success.

JP: We're sick of "The King" as it is, the last thing we need is to have him coming back to the tag team division again.

Sully: Two rookies could join forces, boost their chances, Sean West could work as a tag team wrestler if he can curb that attitude a little.

JP: Talking of attitude we have Ace Spade up next who has plenty of attitude, Sean West and Ace Spade could work well together, be a right pair of bastards though.

Sully: Would that mean the sight of Ms.Frost and Doris at ringside together?

JP: Yes it would.

Sully: Ohhhhh mother, I don't think I'd be able to cope with those two lovely ladies infront of me, we get to see Doris in a few moments.

JP: Indeed we do, Doris will be accompanying Ace Spade as he takes on the Show Stopper...
