[Pyro explodes in the ring as Appleton, Wisconsin goes crazy and
the four and a half thousand crowd are cheering and waving as the
camera pans around them. It settles down and then swoops down to in
front of top commentary pair John Pilkington and Tim Sullivan.]
JP: Hello and welcome to MWF's Monday Night
Dynamite!
Sully: How many times have you muttered that
phrase now since December last year?
JP: A lot of times Sully...but it feels
better each week.
Sully: How about you let me do it next week,
can't have you hogging all the spotlight especially when I am the
younger and more handsome man.
JP: Haha! Good one Sully, nice to see the
modesty returning to your character.
Sully: All comes naturally...
JP: Just like the hair colour.
[There is a brief silence as Sully cuts JP a glare before carrying
on.]
Sully: The MWF live for you from Appleton,
Wisconsin tonight as we head towards the spectacle that will be
MWF:Implosion and I for one can't wait to see what will
happen.
JP: Tonight is the night for Implosion
announcements and I reckon that Walker and Stoate have a few up their
sleaves.
Sully: Be surprised if they didn't, Stoate
will want to make an impression.
JP: Walker makes some evil matches, we
already have that insane Stairway to Hell match booked for Implosion
between NomaD and Zach Fredricks with the MWF Xtreme Championship
quite literally hanging on the line.
Sully: I get the feeling that one of those
two men is going to die at the end of that match, something in my
bones is telling me.
JP: I thought I was meant to be the old and
senile one?
Sully: Just a feeling I get JP, that's
all...
JP: Some great wrestling for you tonight,
Zach Fredricks will be warming up for the Stairway to Hell match when
he takes on EyCe.
Sully: EyCe of course is a pushover from the
"Untouchables" stable.
JP: Pushover? You'll be surprised, he may be
a young kid but EyCe has bags of talent and will be working hard to
make that ring his own tonight.
Sully: He'll find it tough against such
tough opposition though, Zach Fredricks is of a different class to
someone like EyCe.
JP: You forget that EyCe will have NomaD in
his corner...
Sully: He had NomaD in his corner against
Sean Harley last week and he still couldn't make it count!
[The camera suddenly cuts backstage very quickly, the fans are
heard cheering as the camera pans over a small plaque which reads
'MWF General Manager Dominic Stoate' and the camera focus' and looks
up to see the MWF General Manager sitting, hands clenched, staring at
the camera.]
Stoate: Good evening, I am pleased you could
join me because I have a few announcements to make.
[Stoate leans back in his chair, folding his arms across his
chest.]
Stoate: Last week I made an announcement to
you that the event at Implosion would be a fatal four way for the MWF
Television Championship. There has been a change, due to Troy Knight
battling Ace Spade we've decided the match will be cut to a triple
threat match. But...the quality will remain as high as ever.
[The MWF's General Manager coughs before he continues.]
Stoate: I have spoken with the MWF President
and we looked at the situation surrounding the Television
Championship, we looked long and hard at all the wrestlers suitable
to compete for it. There are four good wrestlers we would like to see
in this match and I am sure you'd love to know who they are...
[Stoate pulls from his pocket a folded piece of paper, he unfolds
it and reads aloud.]
Stoate: The first man in the fatal four way
will be....Flash, the second man in the fatal four way will be...Sean
West.....the third man in the fatal four way, and with a heavy heart
I say this....is Sean Harley...and finally, the fourth man will be,
revealed later.
[A smug smile creeps across the face of the General Manager, he
leans closer to the camera.]
Stoate: This is a personal message to Sean
Harley. At Implosion you are going to wish you'd never been born
because the fourth man I am going to reveal is a wrestler who has
achieved far more in the MWF than you could ever wish to. He's
reached the pinnacle that every wrestler wishes to be at, he's a
wrestler so well known he's even got his name in the dictionary. And
you, Sean Harley, what are you but a waste of fucking space! I will
do everything within my power to make sure that you "Phoenix" do not
rise from Implosion with the MWF Television Championship around your
waist!
[Stoate takes a deep breath and then exhales loudly.]
Stoate: Sunday is still to come, later
tonight I will reveal to you all the fourth man and I gurantee Sean
Harley, you will not sleeping tonight, or tomorrow...
[The camera switches back to the arena where the fans are going
wild for the MWF General Manager.]
JP: I wonder who it could be....
Sully: Obviously some stuck up prick with a
past, I don't think he'll be a major problem that Harley can't take
care of.
JP: Sean Harley seems to think he is a god
in the wrestling world but little does he know that no one likes
him.
Sully: I like him, he has a certain style
which just makes people hate him but if you see past that you can see
the talent almost flowing through his veins.
JP: He rates himself too highly, he needs to
assess his situation and then he might well become a force in the MWF
but he won't get anywhere by threatening staff...
Sully: His style has got him a shot at the
MWF Television Championship, I'd say he's all set to become a big
star in the MWF...his star has been rising ever since he joined and I
reckon it won't stop for another few years.
JP: You think he could present a challenge
to the likes of Anarkist?
Sully: In the future yes, be a really good
match between those two.
JP: Back to what Stoate said, it's someone
who has reached the pinnacle of the MWF...well the only three men to
win the MWF World Championship apart from Anarkist are...
Sully: Mark Rose, Sam King and Ross
Allen.
JP: They all hit the pinnacle in the MWF and
made fantastic contributions but I somehow doubt it will be Mark
Rose, he's locked up somewhere for murder.
Sully: Ross Allen can't get out of his
wheelchair these days and I doubt he'll want to come back and wrestle
in a Television Championship match..he'll consider himself above
it.
JP: That leaves Sam King, he's a respected
wrestler and has been quiet for weeks now.
Sully: He's nursing an injury and is due
back soon, wow, it could be Sam King coming to finally get his hands
on the Television Championship.
JP: He never did beat Wildfire for the belt,
what a match they had...
Sully: Matches JP, everytime they got in the
ring it was more insane and more insane.
JP: We've got some more action coming up
next and it is good action, Insane Wayne is back again to hit the MWF
ring...after his return win last week he will be looking to keep up
the good run of form when he takes on Doomsday.
Sully: Doomsday is a guy with talent, twenty
seven years old he has a lot of years left ahead of him but he has
more experience than most on the MWF roster.
JP: Both these men were battling it out in
the UWF before it was forced to closure and the MWF was always
interested in bringing Insane Wayne back and also capturing the
signature of Doomsday.
Sully: He is a talented guy, the kind of big
guy you would like to have watching your back.
JP: He's never had a partner, is always
working alone, never wants to get too involved with anything else
because I think he feels it jeopardises his chances...Insane Wayne on
the other hand has the incredible talent that is Iniquity at his
side.
Sully: Iniquity follows Wayne around,
everywhere Wayne goes then Iniquity goes to.
JP: Not true, Iniquity has a strong sense of
independance and you'd be surprised, Wayne is just there ready to tug
on the leash of Iniquity shows signs of straying off.
Sully: He's a very dark character Iniquity
and also comes across as quite untrustworthy...
JP: I wouldn't say he's untrustworthy, he
has shown amazing trust towards Wayne so far and I hope for their
sake they never part because it would be like The Jeopardizer and Sam
King all over again.
Sully: That was great, King never did
anything better than that...what a thrill it must of been for him to
strike down the man who dragged him down for so long.
JP: As I said, I hope Wayne and Iniquity
never come to that.
Sully: They seem a strong team but I get the
feeling Doomsday is even stronger mentally, he may not be as strong
physically but in his head he has the mindset to help him win and
achieve something in the MWF.
JP: He never won a belt in the UWF, in the
entire time he was there he never once won a title..
Sully: Really!? That is insane...you
wouldn't expect that a talent like Doomsday would never have won a
title...let alone not winning a major one.
JP: A startling fact, shows why the place
shut down, they ignored some of their top talent in favour for the
old 'GOBS' as Troy Knight would call them.
Sully: You and your Troy Knight
references...
JP: That reminds me, Ace Spade will be
appearing later tonight to make an announcement about Implosion, I
think it is an official challenge to Troy Knight for a match.
Sully: Finally! They can get in the ring and
Ace can beat the living hell out of Troy Knight and batter his brains
all over the pavement.
JP: Pulling it back, that is later, right
now we're going to see if Insane Wayne can continue his great return
to the MWF as he takes on Doomsday...
