Copenhagen, Denmark, July 14-20, 2000

After a fun train ride, which included crossing the 2-day old bridge between Sweden and Denmark, we arrived in Copenhagen. Compared to Stockholm, it was a very dirty city we thought.
Almost immediately we noticed that there were ships hanging inside virtually all churches in Denmark. Ship inside cathederal On one day we took a side trip to Hilleroed, to see King Frederick's Castle. It was beautiful. Poseidon's Fountain at Frederick's Castle. King Frederick's Castel
Inside the castle we found a beautiful 1600 organ and an ancient world globe/hour dial, among many other treasures. A 1600 organ combo globe and hour dial We had this beautiful view of the Castle as we left town: Castle leaving town
