PREMISE

Safe and Sound is a Without A Trace/Law and Order-esque dramatic series, which follows the employees of the Division of Children and Youth Welfare. They are charged with protecting the city's children from abuse and danger. These are the people who make the determination of when children will be taken away from their parents, when children will be placed in foster care, and who is qualified to care for the city's children. The members of the Division must balance the thorny ethical issues raised by their work with tumultuous office politics and personal lives that sometimes conflict with their positions.
