Chapter 2
Meg bent down to water the flowers in the flowerbed she had planted. They smelled beautiful. She looked around her garden, her own place in the Secret Adobe. It was so tranquil, so beautiful, so... so complete.
The flowers blew in the breeze, waving in the wind like a field of multi-colored wheat.
"Meg," called someone from the outside, "It's time."
"Just a moment," she called back to the voice outside the gate. She got up from the ground and walked to the gate and left the garden.
"I don't see why you couldn't just conjure a dress. It's so much trouble to have one made."
"Now where would we be if we just conjured everything up, answer me that."
"The Secret Adobe, I would think," answered the house-elf.
They winked at each other for no apparent reason.
"Come now, let's hurry up. We need this in time for the Queen's arrival," urged Meg.
"Alright, let's go," replied Dobby, lifting Meg off her feet magically and flying toward her room.
As they got there...
"Meg, Dobby, we've been looking everywhere for you."
"What's the problem?” Meg asked Alex who was catching his breath.
"I don't know, but the king wants everyone to meet in the Great Hall."
"Let's go then," said Dobby and he lifted them all up and started flying toward the Great Hall.
