| May 24, 2002 Well it's been over a year since I have written in here that's pretty bad if I do say so myself...well I am now living in montreal with jay and working a shitty job but it's worth it..living in montreal ROCKS!!!! I never did go to europe but kristen did and she had a blast!!! =) Well today or should I say tonight I feel like ranting and the subject of my ranting this evening is "Emo"!! frankly I'm sick of emo..veryvery sick of emo...I'm not talking so much about the music but more so about the "emo kids" I'm so sick of the pathetic kids and thier "I'm so sad..I hurt in side" bullshit....I think I can sum it up in a few quotes I read : "We (The Mars Volta) played a show in LA and there was a kid there - a you-could-buy-him-in-a-factory emo kid- and I told him, "I wanna put you in a concentration camp and surround you with kleenex boxes, and then you'd really have something to cry about" "Emo is white linear music. I wonder what it actually is that they're upset about" Cedric Bixler (Mars Volts a At the Drive-In) Vice magazine I can't lie, I do like emo music....except for the so called "emo pop" band simple plan...I juat can handle them it's too much I listen to thier songs and all i think of is how hard they are trying to hurt inside...it's pathetic all they are doing is trying to make lotsa money riding the wave..being sad is cool now so lets try to be sad...ugh....luckily I have a feeling the whole "emo" trip is almost over....well that's about all I have to say for now so untill next time keep on rockin! Ally April 12, 2001 OK Now I really havn't written in a long time..well I have some time on my hands today so I'll try and update the page abit...I think I'm gonna try and buy a scanner soon so expect lotsa new pics commin at ya!! I just got back from montreal last night. I went on monday but had to come back early unfortunatly..I hate going there because every time I come back hom eit sucks more and more. It seems harder to leave every time!! Oh weLl I always have fun while I'M THERE!! Umm..lets see what's new in my life...Holly SHIt I'm going to Europe!! At the end of July mE AND Kristen are going backpacking in Europe!! It is going to be amaziN>>>But it means I have to super save my money now which kinda sucks...oh well it'll definatly be worth it. We're only going for about three weeks but I want to try and see as many countries as possible in that time!!! I think it's gonna be awsome!! Well that is all I have to say for noW!! Ciao *Ally March 14, 2001 Whoa I havn't written in a while...something really embarassing to me the other day on the bus..I was sitting on a seat and the girl beside e didn't moove her bag so i was on the very edge then we took a sharp corner and i totally fell onto the floor...and some old man was laughing at me!! It was terrible!! hehe Oh man the Dropkick Murphy's show on monday was AMAZING..it was the best show ever. That is all thanx *Ally Febuary 27, 2001 Well lets see what has been going on in my boring life lately. Well the Queers show was pretty great!! I was really impressed by trk-05 they kicked...as did Dynamite Boy!!Ryan and MaRcus came down which was cool too!! :-) I spent the week in Montreal which was a nice little trip. It was nice to get away for a few days. I left on Monday after work and came back on friday morning...the 8am bus from montreal...ugh...that was brutal...espesially because I only got home at like 3:30 Thursday night!!! Oh well I had a blast while I was there and that's what counts!! hehe I'm going to see Lagwagon, The Ataris and The Vandals in montreal on the 24th>.I'm super pumped for that show!! It should be awsome!! I went and got my ticket for it yesterday...it's a sweet deal it's $40 for the bus there and the show!!! I also got tickets for Mustard Plug and Dropkick Murpheys yesterday...I'm really lookin forward to those shows too!! YAY!!! I found my dream shoes at Top yesterdaY!! They are SOOOOOOOOOOO nice. They are white and baby blue Osiris's!! I'm so in love!! They are so the perfect pair of shoes!! I'm gonna go get them next week with my paY!! hheh I love spending money...it's so terrible....I have to strt controling myself if I ever plan on moving out!!!WOW this is the longest post I ever writtin on here before...I guess I'm just really in a talkative mooD!! blah...it's so fun to go on and on about absalutly nothing of any interest to anyone!!! hehe oh well I guess I'm running out of things to say.....so I guess I'll catch yall later!!! *Ally |
