PUB NIGHT!!!

The New Year is here. We are all back from our holidays. The CEGSS is organizing a Pub Night Welcome Back for all Civil Engineering graduate students (new and returning), professors, staffs and their friends on Thursday, January 20th, 7 P.M. at Thomson House (3650 McTavish) first floor. Please come and bring your friends. FREE BEER, SNACKS AND COOKIES

WINE AND CHEESE 2005!

As usual, the McGill Civil Engineering Graduate Students Society (CEGSS) is organizing its welcoming free wine and cheese party for all Civil Engineering new and returning graduate students, professors and staff on Friday, September 23 between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm.

In addition, nominations for positions within the CEGSS council will be held soon. The sign-up sheet for the available positions will be posted during the wine and cheese along with the position descriptions.

CEGSS CHRISTMAS DINNER

The CEGSS Christmas Banquet will be held at the Restaurant (basement) of Thomson House on Tuesday November 30th at 6:30 PM. Tickets are $20 for students, thanks to the Department, and $30 for faculty and staff (please contact us for details). Tickets are on sale now, and the space is limited!

Students can purchase tickets from the following:

    KARAOKE NIGHT!

    The McGill Civil Engineering Graduate Students Society (CEGSS) is organizing a Karaokee party for all Civil Engineering new and returning graduate students, professors, staff and their Friends on Tuesday, October 19 between 7:00 pm and 9:00 pm at Vocalz Karaoke.

    VOCALZ Karaoke is located between metro stations Guy Concordia and Peel at 1421 Crescent St. about 5 minutes walk away from McGill (See map).

    The major academic event this year, the 11th Annual CEGSS Conference on April 1st, 2004 is on!

    We are always organizing academic and recreational events that enrich our student needs. In this year, we do organize Barbeques and our Grad Student conference.

    We would like to wish the best of luck to all those students who have graduated in the last semester. As always, we urge all our recent and past M.Sc., M.Eng. and Ph.D. graduates to keep in touch.
