Born 4 months after her father died; named for him

Mary Jane was expecting twins when Andrew Logan died. She had both of the twins.  A little boy was born first, and by the time Andrella was born 5 hrs later, he had already died.

 From Virginia Heaton

When war started Earl working in shipyard in Baltimore.  Cause he had 2 children he did not have to go into service right away.  He was taking a welding course, and Rhunette wanted Virginia to help her take the 2 children to Baltimore to see Earl.  They stopped in Danville, and Vernell already had at least one of the girls.  The train was full of soldiers and their suitcases.

James stopped to see them in Danville, and Aunt Andy was there by herself and would not let him in.  So he went to the police station, and someone said "J.C., there's a young man out here that says he's your nephew."  They said that J.C.  had his fist ready in case it was someone he didn't know, but as soon as he saw James laugh he knew who he was.
