        Native of Greenville County, son of the late Joe and Melissa Long Wilson. Retired textile worker, member of Drayton Baptist Church, Woodmen of the World; wife was the late Hattie Belle McKee Wilson.

Lulee Wilson Trail

       Lulee Wilson Trail, 80, of 318 Hydrick St., died April 1, 1992, at her home.

       A native of Laurens County, she was the widow of Billy B. Trail and daughter of the late Samuel W. and Hattie McKee Wilson.  She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was retired from Drayton Mills after 51 years of Service.

       Survivors include a daughter, Janice Trail of the home; a brother, the Rev. Jody Wilson of Spartanburg; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

       Visitation will be held at the home, 318 Hydrick St., Spartanburg.  Graveside services will be at 2 PM Friday in Sunset Memorial Park by Dr. Benjamin Littlejohn and the Rev. Everett Foster.

       In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Southside Baptist Church Debt Retirement Fund, 316 S. Church St., Spartanburg, SC 29301.

The Rev. Jodie Rossie Wilson, 79, of 261 Cherry Hill Road, died July 4, 1999 in Lenoir City, Tenn.

       A native of Greenwood, he was the son of the late Hattie McKee Wilson and Sam Wilson. He retired as a minister after 23 years and was an Army Veteran of World War II. He founded Woodruff First Freewill Baptist Church in 1972 and co-founded Converse Freewill Baptist Church in 1956. He was associate  pastor at Peace Freewill Baptist Church and former pastor of Davie Freewill Baptist Church in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. He was a former member of the Sunshine Trio and of the Carolina Quartet.

Survivors include his wife, Alma Guy Wilson; a  son, Gene Wilson of Fountain Inn; a daughter, Margie  Gahaggan of Wellford; 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

       The family will receive friends at 6 tonight at Peace Freewill Baptist Church.

       Services will be held at 3 PM Wednesday at Peace Freewill Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Johnny Bullman, Kenneth Cash, and Jimmy Alman. Burial will be in Sunset  Memorial Gardens.

       Memorials may be made to Peace Freewill Baptist Church, Spartanburg.
