This isn't exactly what we did and saw, but it is what was planned and it is close to what we did.
- Day 01
- U.S.A.-Ireland: Depart U.S.A. for your overnight flight to Ireland. Dinner served shortly after take-off.
- Day 02
- Dublin: Early morning arrival at Dublin Airport. Having cleared Irish customs, we are greeted by our friendly Celtic Tours driver/guide, and escorted to our awaiting motorcoach. Transfer by Motorcoach to our hotel where we have some free time to rest. Afternoon city panoramic tour of Dublin. Remainder of day and evening free.
- Day 03.
- Dublin - Armagh - Co. Cavan: We travel North to Armagh, the Ecclesiastical Capital of Ireland where we visit St. Patrick's Trian for a journey of historical discovery, including the life and work of St. Patrick who came to Arntagh in the 5th century. The Armagh story exhibition of Jonathan Swift's Gulliver's Travels. Departing Armagh we continue on to our nearby hotel in Co. Cavan for dinner and overnight.
- Day 04.
- Co. Cavan - Kells - Athione - Galway: Departing Co. Cavan we travel via Kells to Loughrea where we visit St. Brendan's Cathedral which displays some outstanding examples of stained glass by various Irish artists. Continue onwards to Galway and Connemara for a visit to Kylemore Abbey, monastic home of the Benedictine Nuns. Dinner and overnight in Galway.
- Day 05
- Galway - Ennis- Adare - Killarney: Leaving Galway we travel south with our first stop at the Royal Tara China Factory. We continue south via Ennis in County Clare and the olde world village of Adare to Killarney for dinner and overnight. Optional pub entertainment tonight in Killarney.
- Day 06
- Ring of Kerry - Killamey: "Heaven's Reflex" is one of Ireland's loveliest districts. Poets, painters, writers, and musicians have all tried to convey its beauty of mountains and lakes. A delightful day includes a visit to Macken of Ireland for optional shopping for tweeds, knits, china and crystal, after which you drive along the coastline of the broad Iveragh peninsula through the villages and towns of Killorglin, Cahirciveen, Waterville and Irish speaking Sneem. Dinner and overnight in Killarney.
- Day 07
- Killarney - Blarney - Ennis: Leaving Killarney we travel over the scenic Cork and Kerry Mountains to Blarney, where you pause to kiss the famed Blarney Stone, said to bestow eloquence on all who dare. Some free time for optional shopping at Blarney Woollen Mills. We leave Blarney and travel via Mallow to Ennis for dinner and overnight.
- Day 08
- Shannon Airport - USA: After breakfast, we have a leisurely departure for nearby Shannon Airport for our return flight home. Ample time allowed for last minute duty-free shopping before boarding our flight home. We arrive back in the U.S. the same day.
