McQueen is a rock band that draws it's influences from a myriad of sources ranging from '77 Punk to '84 Thrash Metal. While the music of McQueen may seem like old news rehashed, the ideas we put forth are fresh perspectives from our own experiences and thoughts. I mean, c'mon, do you really wanna hear another punk singin' about how much he dislikes the police? Make no mistake, we hold no love for "The Man". Why, I myself on occasion can be found driving without wearing my seat belt. No, we'd rather sing about new ideas that affect us or people like us that would listen to our music, our "target audience". We ask questions like:
*Why would you send 90 cents a day to starving countries around the world yet scoff at the idea of giving a bum on the street a quarter?
*What is more punk, spending time sewing on patches and making them look dirty or educating yourself beyond what the media tells you, no matter what you wear?
*Why can't northern states have their own Waffle Houses?
*Why is Charleton Heston such a brilliant candidate for the last man standing?
Of course, we can't give you the answers to these burning questions, only you can decide for yourself. We just think this type of shit is more important than aping views of bands past. Those songs have been written, it's time for new ideas.

THE McDUDES ARE BACK! 11/8/05
You may have heard the distant rumbles of thunder, but that was just McQueen preparing the rock storm once again! This is no "reunion tour" either - they've reformed for GOOD. Watch this space for more updates and upcoming shows. McQueen's lyric page has also been updated with a few songs that have been missing

THIS IS THE FIRST SONG OFF OUR NEW ALBUM...6/13/03
That's right, we put out an album. You can buy one. No, really, we'll let you. It's called "Xmas Songs and Anthems of Despair, Sorrow, Denial and Woe." It's 18 tracks of hardcore hell and it can be yours for a measly $3! Look for more info on that later.

LISTEN TO THAT SHIT!4/12/03
McQueen has posted an MP3 of "Bomb the Hills" on MP3.com. You can find it right here. You can also find a copy of it floating arouns WinMx.

R, YOU READY TO ROCK? 3/03
The absence of CAC has left the McQUEEN sound a little flat. Luckily, Blair had a man on the inside with the prowess to fill the slot. His name is R (say it! Now! Now say it like a pirate with your finger curled up like a hook!). R was actually a savior in a pinch. He was ready to rock in 3 days when we needed him. He did a bang up job for his first show on March 15th with only 2 practices under his belt. R will be on the job to help McQUEEN write new songs for our soon to come 12" LP.

MAN DOWN! 3/03
Yes, it seems that our guitarist, CAC, has chosen to bow out in lieu of a blossoming career in film making. CAC's last show with McQUEEN was February 26th at the Blind Pig with the Hairy Drain Babies. As a sign of good faith, McQUEEN and CAC will still be working together to finish up their recording and working on a few video projects. McQUEEN wishes CAC the best of luck with all of his endeavors.

HEY, CAN YOU READ JAPANESE?
If you could, you could read this. This is a scan of a zine from a band called Short Fuse in Japan. We played with them at State Control. That's us in pic number 10. And hey, that's Trabajar in pic number 11.
