Calverton wins Divisional Championship -- Congratulations Chargers!

Coaches Long Course scratches due midnight Sunday July 1, 2001.
Following are instructions posted by MCSL: All scratches should be sent to the divisional automation liaison by Saturday June 30 with the meet results, or directly to automation@mcsl.org via e-mail by midnight of Sunday, July 1, 2001. If they are e-mailed, they MUST include the name of the swimmer, the stroke to be scratched out of, and a contact name, contact phone number and contact email. If these are not included, scratches will be discarded, and no attempt will be made to follow up. We cannot, and will not accept: 1) telephone calls, 2) requests to scratch out of a stroke only if thus and such occurs, 3) requests for information about seedings or other people’s scratches. As always, scratches out of the entire meet are accepted at any time, but please do this as early as possible, so we can inform and then enter alternates. No shows are not entitled to the T-shirt.

2001 Divisional T-Shirt -- The Calverton Chargers are now selling the MCSL 2001 Division D T-shirt.
Sample shirts have been produced and will be displayed at Calverton's dual meets and at the Relay Carnival. There is a $3 discount per shirt on all orders received by July 7 (the production deadline). Shirts purchased in advance will be delivered to each team at the Divisional Championship Meet on July 21. Additional shirts will also be sold ($15) at Divisionals, but supplies and sizes may be limited! Link to Order Form.

AUTOMATION REPS -- please note the following advice from MCSL's automation gurus:

Before each meet, prepare and bring with you disk and hard copies of your (1) team's roster and (2) meet entries.

Immediately after each meet, send to the Division D liason (1) your meet results (Commlink file) and (2) a copy of your Meet Manager database files. Please send these files via email, in "zipped" form, to wangw@rocketmail.com, or if you want to hand deliver them in the form of floppy disks (virus scanned, of course) let me know before the day of the meet so we can work out logistics.
