the field of music and visual arts, his writings have appeared in numerous
magazines and journals. In late 1999/early 2000, his first book on the nationally
known Hines Farm Blues Club was published on his imprint Jive Bomb Press.
Titled "I'll Take You There: An Oral and Photographic History of the
Hines Farm Blues Club, " this book received the Best Blues Book of the
Year Award in 1999 from Real Blues Magazine and was critically acclaimed internationally.
