Lisa and her Prize!

Lisa Lohmeyer won the Woman's Trophy with 18.48 lbs., 36 inches for which she was awarded a beautiful custom ring--a cluster of pearls on a gold setting, designed and donated for this Halibut Derby by Lord of the Rings, a first-time sponsor.  Her catch was made while fishing on the boat of her grandfather, Harold Cabrera, who won the Individual Derby Competition in 1999.  Another of Harold's granddaughters was among the youth winners in the 2000 Derby.
