NEW ZEALAND 3
August 6th and 7th, we rented a kayak and
went to Browns Island, Rangitoto, and Motutapu.
We still think we're all cool, the bulls have
not attacked yet.
OK, the bulls chased us to the waters edge,
we made it back to our kayaks, and then proceeded to be swamped by waves at high tide.
At this point we didn't care if the bulls gored us to death. We had to bail
the water out of the boat to leave the island.
On the way to Rangitoto in the rain and
swells.
Hiking up to the top of Mt. Rangitoto, we
found some really neat moss and rock formations.
Um, yes, that is what you think it is - my
nose was running, and I just didn't feel like wiping it.
Stuck in a cave in
Whatipu, Alex takes
advantage of the situation and snaps this picture. The cave was waist deep in
water, which explains why we took off our pants to go through it.
Sunset when we came out of the caves, not
too shabby, eh?
A waterfall in Whangarei that Alex went
behind, that weekend we went to the Poor Knights Islands.
Fighting giant squid in
Whangarei.
Yes, we are all bizarre on our way to
Havana's to go Salsa dancing one night.
Near Takapuna beach, Simone, her friend
Doug, Travis and Alex strike a pose, ain't they sexy?
