Each game is rated in icon green ogres. One ogre is a below average rating and five is absolutely awsome! [five Ogres is almost impossible to achieve.]

Furcadia Furre / Any Genre 3d iconiconiconiconicon
Ever fancied playing a character of the furry kind (and, yes, furre is a genre dedicated to just that) then you might take a trip to Furcadia. A cross between a chat kingdom and a roleplaying environment, the place itself consists of many lands dedicated to bringing you different experiences. There are areas where you can play games, chill out and socialize as well as roleplay. The great thing about Furcadia is that you can make your own maps (called dreams) and upload them into the game as well as make your own graphics from medieval to futuristic and beyond. The only limit is your imagination.

    Runescape Fantasy 3d iconiconiconiconicon
This is much more than a hack and slash roleplaying game. Runescape puts as much emphasis on developing other important skills and trading as it does on killing goblins and other unwary creatures. You can learn many crafts including blacksmithing, mining and sheep shearing amongst other things. You may choose to become a cook, woodcutter or fisherman supplying those who are in it for the blood and glory! The interface is simple and communicating with other players is not a problem. A word of warning - it doesn't seem to be very newbie friendly but if you are willing to learn by trial and error you will find this to be a very enjoyable game.

    Illarion Fantasy 3d iconiconiconiconicon
This is a well thought out game that places more emphasis on developing and using skills that on fighting. When you first start out you must make all your own equipment from scratch, which means that you have to mine iron ore to be able to make weapons and armour and learn leathermaking to fashion a bag to increase your inventory space. There is much to see and do here and, although it is still in development, can be very addictive. Newbie friendly and a very good atmosphere. This was originally a German game but the developers have recently translated it into English.

    Dragon Spires Fantasy 3d iconiconiconiconicon
Quite an old game this one (actually the predecessor of Furcadia which is mentioned above) but still very enjoyable. Cute little graphics and a large world to explore. Fighting is easily mastered (especially for someone like me who has no hand to eye to brain co-ordination!) which is good because that is mainly what the game is about. You kill monsters to gain alignment points and treasure and in certain areas you can 'kill' other players to turn yourself bad. Don't worry 'killed' players don't stay dead :)! There is a lot of humour in Dragon Spires and a nice atmosphere.
