Words of Wisdom… In a fight, hit first and hit hard. Be brave. Even if you're not, pretend to be. No one can tell the difference. Never give up on anybody. Miracles happen everyday. Slow dance. Smile a lot. It costs nothing and is beyond price. Learn to listen. Opportunity sometimes knocks very softly. Never deprive someone of hope. It might be all they have. Take time to smell the roses. Pray not for things, but for wisdom and courage. Give people a second chance but not a third. Don't waste time grieving over past mistakes. Learn from them and move on. When someone hugs you, let them be the first to let go. Keep your promises. Be willing to lose a battle in order to win a war. Don't be deceived by first impressions. Never cut what can be untied. Never underestimate the power of love. Don't burn bridges. You'll be surprised how many times you have to cross the same river. Accept pain and disappointment as a part of life. Rekindle old friendships. Ever so often, press your luck. Never waste an opportunity to tell someone you love them. Have a friend who owns a truck. Be prepared- you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Don't take friends, good health, or a good marriage for granted. Have a hero. Have a dream. Learn the rules- then break some. Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it. Don't mistake kindness for weakness. Never be ashamed of honest tears. Ever so often watch Sesame Street. Trust in God but lock your car. Be there when people need you. To explain a breakup simply say, "it was all my fault". Never underestimate the power of forgiveness. Don't whine. Respect tradition. Think twice before burdening a friend with a secret. Never tell anyone they look tired or depressed. Don't forget; a person's greatest need is to feel appreciated.
